Project Manager, nest sequence in a nest sequence not exporting properly.

I have a extra large project so i was happy to copied anything used into a new project to back up but also to reduce project size.

Everything was copied within their sequence but everywhere there was a nest sequence within a nest sequence those files are missing. I will copy manually but is there a way to avoid this problem ?

(yeah sorry, I have to nest and nest over because you can't warp stabilize and change speed without nesting)

Hello,

Indeed it's a known issue of the Project Manager in Premiere Pro.

A solution is to use PlumePack, it's the Third Party plugin for Premiere Pro which we are developing with Autokroma, and which does the same job than the Project Manager but with more features, a better reporting and some bug fixed.

The FREE version of PlumePack allows you to copy your project and the issue you mention here will be fixed. It also has some improvements like generating the same Media structure than the Bins in Premiere Pro. More info about Project Manager VS PlumePack here.

The Premium version gives a lot of other useful features, but the main one is "Trimming Without Re-encoding", which reduces the size of your files by removing unused frames (with "handles" parameter to keep a bit more), but without re-encoding so without loosing quality, keeping the same codec and metadata. More info about Free VS Premium here.

Best,

Nicolas from Autokroma
