Remix issues with AAF to Pro Tools

"Remixed" Music tracks do not properly import into Pro Tools via AAF. Among other bizarre behavior, we'll often see large gaps in the audio track, or missing content altogether.

1. Editor exports AAF, selecting "Render Clip Effects"
2. Mixer ingests the AFF. He'll get everything as expected, except the Remix tool.

Editors are on Windows 11, high-end PCs. Premiere 24.3.
Mixer is on Mac OS 14.4 Sonoma. Pro Tools 2024.3.

In Audition, exporting to OMF will flatten the Remixed clip to edits of the source file. It would be ideal to have this same functionality in Premiere Pro for AAF.

I would suggest simply opening the .prproj file in Audition and then exporting an OMF that way - but Audition does not seem to recognize Remixed clips from Premiere.

Bruce, would a render/replace type operation also work?

Remixing introduces nested sequences, which I'm not sure translate to ProTools. I wonder whether 'mixdown video' would give you a usable result...?

Good Day,

I'm experiencing the same issue on my side. Is there a work around to using the remix audio? AAF exports losing a lot of information and have large gaps. Please let me know if anyone was able to resolve this. These were my export settings:

Can we have a screenshot of all the AAF export settings, from step 1?
