Render and Replace not working in Adobe for Teams

Render and replace is not importing and connecting the render to the dynamicly linked comp in the timeline  in Adobe for Teams.

When I render and replace, it should render and then change the the dynamic comp name in the timeline to say "rendered" and the end and make the option to render and replace in the right click menu on that clip unavailable, and make the "Restore Unrendered" option available.

The rendered clip should also be imported into the project. Instead what happens is the clip transcodes and is created in the folder I have designated, but then it is not imported, and the dynamicly linked comp remains an unrendered, live dynamic link.

I have tried different Pro Res codecs, different destination folders, and this has happned in multiple projects recently with comps that contain solids, or shapes, and text.

Hello Dani,

This happens in all Adobe for Teams projects with all comps. I made a new project just to test it and it happened.

Thanks,

Carter

Hi @Carter Reedy,

Thank you for submitting a bug report. I believe I can reproduce this and will notify the team.

Have there been instances within the same project or Premiere Pro version where the comps have been rendered and have properly imported back, or has this been occurring with every single one?

Sorry for the frustration,
Dani
