SAVED WORKSPACES DON'T WORK ANYMORE Premiere Pro 26.5.2 / MacBook Pro M4 Max / Sequoia 15.8.1

-MacBook Pro M4 max (2024) MacOS Sequoia 15.8.1

-Premiere Pro 26.5.2

Saved workspaces all default to the same Premiere Pro window layout. Old saved workspaces are gone. Newly created saved workspaces don’t save. Phenomena began I believe with the most recent update.

Please fix. Thank you!

    Hello @Glass Amoeba

Welcome back to the Premiere Forums. Thank you for posting. Could you help us narrow down the saved-workspace issue?

    • Are your custom workspace names missing from the Workspaces menu, or are they still listed but all open with the same layout?
    • Does a newly saved workspace fail immediately, after switching away and back, or only after restarting Premiere?
    • Can you reproduce it in a new blank project? Please share the steps you use to save, switch, and reopen the workspace.
    • Does it happen with every project? Is “Import Workspace from Projects” enabled in the Window Drop down menu?
    • Please share the full Premiere build number of the last version that worked, and whether you use external monitors or floating panels.
    • If possible, please send a short screen recording and a zipped copy of your current Premiere profile’s Layouts folder.

Please don’t reset preferences or move/delete workspace files until the Layouts folder has been copied.

    Hoping to help,

    Amy
