Scopes not rendering in real time

Is anyone else having this issue when working on colour specifically with lumetri scopes, using the: blacks, shadows, whites and highlights, they do not register in real time in the luma scope display channel? This takes maybe 5-10 minutes before it renders and starts functioning.

It is primarily an issue with masks.

Often I find myself having to close and reopen the software which allows it to function for a short amount of time, before going back to being unresponsive

    Hi,

Can you please share these details :

    1. Build no where you see this. Was this the case always or it worked for you before ?
    2. Exact workflow you are trying / steps to reproduce the issue
    3. Are you in new Color Mode in new Beta builds ?
    4. System configuration

    Thanks

    Hey

    1. I am not sure what you mean by build number. If you are referring to latest model, it is premiere 2026. I did not have this issue with 2025 or previous.
    2. Import clip onto timeline, then add adjustment layer for rec709, followed by another adjustment layer for luma scope. Starting with shadows, blacks, highlight and finally moving onto whites with a mask. The issue can occur at any point with the luma scopes, but starts having an exaggerated delay with the implementation of a mask.
    3. I am just using the colour workspace from the dropdown, there is beta tag or any indication. It’s the same one that was available the year before.
    4. I am using a capable machine, footage has also been proxied. And I am still running into this issue.

Go to Help > About from the menu, and it will give you the version and build.
