Show Duplicate Frame markers

Show duplicate frame markers” feature either doesn't work or works incorrectly. When there are duplicates, the program doesn't detect them. When there are no duplicates, the program indicates that there are. Sometimes this option doesn't work at all, and I must restart the program.

    Have you tried to clear your media cache? You mentioned the option either not working at all or requiring a program restart. Does this happen once you have turned the option on using the wrench in the timeline panel? Please note that “Show duplicate Frame markers” is not compatible with PNGs, JPEGs, TIFFs, Nested clips, or Nested Multicams. Most speed changes will still catch the duplicate frames.

    I work with video files. I can't clear the cache because there's just too much data. I can't afford to recache 1 TB of video footage on an SSD.
