Some keys stopped reaching CEP panels in Premiere 25.4 in Mac

We are seeing some issues with keyboard shortcuts not working in CEP panels in Premiere 25.4 (and 25.4.1) on Mac. It works on older versions e.g. 25.3.

For example, the usual copy-paste shortcuts like Command-C and Command-V do not work anymore in any text field used in a CEP panel. Command-X still works for cutting, it seems.

If a sequence is open, the left/right arrow keys do not work anymore in any text field in a CEP panel. They seem to be captured by the sequence window and result in frame stepping.

This makes it quite difficult for regular users of CEP panels who are used to those keys.
Easily reproducible by installing a CEP panel like Vimeo from the Creative Cloud app.

Same problem for us as well. I know that Justin Taylor has implemented a patch into their Bolt CEP library that fixes the left/right arrow issue.

Same problem here. This is a real problem for our users because they often need to copy-paste content from the system clipboard into our extension. Right-click > Paste is not intuitive and we are getting a number of complaints. We are seeing it in both Premiere Pro 2024 and 2025 versions, though it was previously working on earlier versions of each. We do not know which version specifically it broke in.

I'm also having the same trouble with CEP panels with plugins like Premiere Composer, Epidemic Sound plugin etc all with the same result.

Thanks for confirming @IanB_360. My client is running into this as well and we have advised them NOT to upgrade to 25.4 as working in the panel with Mimir, in this case, is key to their workflow.
