Source patching caption track doesn't work

Source patching caption tracks is not working. If I'm editing from one captioned sequence to another (timeline as source), it doesn't matter if I patch the caption track of the (source) timeline or not, it will overwrite or insert the captions from the source timeline regardless.

Video and audio track patching works fine. 

Is this a bug?
