The Export window doesn't open

Hi everyone!

I have a weird problem: My export window does not open anymore. All projects are affected.

I made sure that the timeline panel is selected while clicking on export. I tried the shortcut, the context menu and just nothing happens. When I click on the tab “Export” the loading animation just goes on forever.

I tried to reset all settings and workspaces. Then I uninstalled and installed multiple older versions.

Now I am completly out of ideas and any help would be apreciated!

 

My PC specs:

Intel Core i7 14700K

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

64 GB DDR5

    Welcome to the Premiere forums and sorry you’ve been experiencing issues. What version of Premiere did this issue begin in? A similar issue with the export panel was implemented in v25.6.4 and v26.0—are you still seeing it in the more recent versions?

    Do you have any third-party plugins or panels installed?

    As a workaround, are you able to export with Media Encoder through File > Export > Send to Adobe Media Encoder?

    I have tried versions 26.0, 25.6.4 and 25.5 without success and there are no third-party plugins installed.

    The last time I have succesfully exported something from Premiere was on January 16th. I let Adobe Cloud download the updates automaticly and don’t pay attention to ther version numbers so I don’t know which version that was. But it must have been way newer than 25.5

    The workaround works for a few projects, but most of the time nothing happens and only one time an an error occured: “Adobe Media Encoder is not installed”. But I can’t replicate that error and the Media Encoder works perfectly fine on its own. There is no obvious connection between the projetcs that can be exported via Media Encoder but it feels like older projects have a better chance to work.
