The Graphics Templates panel is gone and refuses to appear when selected from the "Window" menu

Some days ago I noticed the “Graphics Templates” panel disappeared. But when I opened the “Window” menu and selected it to make it appear again, it wouldn’t. I’ve already cleared my media cache, restarted/shut down my computer, reset my Workspace preferences, swapped Workspaces, but nothing worked.

I’m on the current version Premiere, Windows 11. Is anyone else dealing with this issue?

It is working correctly for me in PR 26.5.0 on Win 11.

This may not be it, but double check that it is not in the Project Panel group. I would swear it was not in that group before, but it is the same in PR 2025. In the Captions and Graphics workspace it is in the Properties panel group.

But if that is what it is, then when you look in the Windows list, you should see a check next to Graphics Templates. (It doesn’t appear, because it is already open somewhere.)

@Stan Jones Yes, I am curious if @Ahmet26047475ozev can confirm if it ends up revealing itself there, great suggestion to try too.

Glad to hear it is working for you in v26.5.0. I am also seeing it work correctly in the latest v26.5.1 (so far).

Thanks for stopping by the Premiere forums and giving us some details about your Graphics panel issue. I see you’re using Windows 11, and you mention the “current” version of Premiere but to confirm, do you mean v26.5 or can you let us know the version and build of Premiere?

A few more questions to help troubleshoot:
- What workspace were you in when this happened, and when you mention reset your Workspace prefs, do you mean you tried resetting the saved workspace?
- Are any other panels experiencing this?
- Do you possibly have dual monitors or any external?
- Is this happening in all your projects, just some of them? What about a new, empty project?

Yes I’m on 26.5.

I was in the default Editing Workspace when I first noticed the problem. Yes resetting the saved workspace.

So far it’s only the Graphic Templates window that doesn’t appear.

I have 2 monitors but the default Editing Workspace uses one screen.

The issue is happening in other projects too.

@Ahmet26047475ozev Okay thanks for that update. Can you try with just one monitor and do a quick test in a new project?

Disconnect the second monitor physically, or use Windows display settings to disable it.
Restart Premiere.
Open a new empty project.
Go to top menu in Premiere to Window > Graphics Templates.
Confirm whether it has a checkmark or not, and if not, if selecting it brings the panel back.

In case of corrupted workspaces happening, let’s try this as well.

Close out Premiere and then navigate to this in explorer:
C:\Users\\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\26.0\Profile-\Layouts

You want what’s inside the Layouts folder. Temporarily move the current workspaces out from that Layouts folder, to say Desktop in a new folder, and then relaunch Premiere. Does the issue persist?
