Timeline locking up after editing in Subtitle track

I am correcting text for spelling and adjusting line breaks on the subtitle track. After I use the trim handles to shorten or lengthen a caption/subtitle the timeline stops playing. 

I have to restart the computer and program.

I am using 25.0.0.0 Build 61 after a roll back from current software.

I am using a MacBook Pro M4 Max 64GB of RAM.

Sometime I only have to relaunch Premiere to get it to start playing again.
