Toggle Direct Manipulation (Transform) deselects/disables when moving between clips

This issue has been fixed in Premiere Beta version 26.0 and will be included in the next release Premiere 26.0

Hi @luis_4507 - Thank you for the screen recording and all of the information you have provided.  Thank you for reporting this. I was able to reproduce the issue and have filed a bug report. We’ll update this thread as soon as we have more information to share. 

Additionally, the "Toggle Direct Manipulation" tool should stay selected, even if you click on other windows, edit clips etc, it used to remain engaged until you turned it off. Forgot to mention. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I click on the program window then either click on "Toggle Direct Manipulation" or use a keyboard shortcut to turn it on. I then use keyboard shortcuts for "Go To Next/Previous Edit Points" to quickly skip between all clips and use the mouse on the program window screen to reframe each individual shot. Since version 25.6, Toggle Direct Manipulation turns itself off after skipping a couple of clips, which is time consuming when I have to quickly go through hundreds of clips.

Locking the clip's audio track reverts the behaviour to that of the 25.5 version.

Can you provide the exact steps you are taking? or provide a screen recording.
