Version 25.6.1 Project Panel Not Appearing

After upgrading to 25.6.1, nearly all of my projects will no longer have the program panel present.  This is after resetting various workspaces to default and reopening the Premiere several times. Even when I attempt to manually trigger the project panel under Window, it simply duplicates the project name. There isn't even a checkmark that appears next to either project name that you would typically see indicating opening a panel succesfully. The image I have attached show this. I did play with the latest Premiere Beta recently and wondering if this may have causes an issue with how file systems are set up or if this  is this specific to 25.6.1? Just bringing all these details up in case they are relevant.

Currently having this exact issue, making Premiere Pro essentially useless. I need to be able to access my Project panel panel to work on my Project.

It seems tied to a specific project file. If I select Window > Project, the panel does not open. Instead, a submenu option inside Window > Project is created with the name of the project, as if I have multiple projects open. (Window > Projects > Project Name) If I select that project, it creates a duplicate option inside that menu. I can do this over and over creating many duplicates of the project name inside the Window > Project menu.

I can open an older version of the project file and the Projects panel works. If I create a new project and import the broken project file into it, the Project panel works until I close and reopen Premiere, so it's definitely tied to something in that specific project file.

Hi @Backhanded Blessings and @r.duarte.f

Team is looking into this. Let me know if you are able share an affected project file and your workspace folder located in: /Users/username/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/25.0/Profile-username/Layouts , I can message you directly and you can share through there.

Thank you for your help,
Dani

@Backhanded Blessings our engineering team would like to take a look at your project file (we don't need the media) and your workspaces located in this folder: /Users/username/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/25.0/Profile-username/Layouts

Thanks!

Thank you for trying that out @Backhanded Blessings. Are you able to share a project file that is affected with the team? I can message you if so.

Thank you for the additional information @Backhanded Blessings. If any of the project files on your external drives are moved to your desktop, does the Project panel appear then for them?

What macOS version is your Mac Mini and MacBook on @r.duarte.f, and are they M series/Silicon or Intel? Do you see a difference between projects opened from or saved on an external drive vs desktop, or from a different location?

I am on a Macbook Pro M1 Max 15.7.2 and have updated to v25.6.2. I have opned up two projects. one is on a harddrive and the other project is right on my desktop. The project on my desktop has no issue presenting the project panel while the proejct on my harddrive cannot show the project window even when both proejcts are opened. I've tried resetting workspaces as well as trying to reveal sequences within the project. I have opened multiple proejcts. (all on external drives) and they all have had the same issue. Nothing works currently.

Hi @Backhanded Blessings

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums and sorry you've been experiencing issues. What macOS version are you on?

Are any other panels affected or do you see any blank panels in place of what is meant to be the Project panel at all?

What happens if you open a second project in the same session, do you see a panel for that one or does it show up in the Window > Projects list?

Sorry for the frustration,

Dani
