Version 26.5.2 not opening export dialog after edit

Finding that after editing for a while I cannot get Premiere to open the Export dialog box. Neither CMD-M or using the mouse to choose File>Export>Media… does anything. I have to close Premiere, reopen it and then exporting works again,

Hello @ReidFilms,

Welcome to the Premiere Forums. Sorry to hear you’re having this issue, but glad the workaround is simple enough. Does this happen shortly after editing or about how long before the Export dialog box and command keys stop working? Does Export Mode become unresponsive? Does Import Mode also become unresponsive? Does this happen in a newly created project with just a few imported clips?

I have this same issue as well on the same version of Premiere. For me, I don’t see a difference in how long I’ve been editing or how long the program has been open, I have to close the project and reopen the same project in order to get the export page to load. Also doesn’t seem to matter how new or old the project is, it always seems to happen.

Thank you for adding a report @joelk1883499! Could you let me know if you have any third party plugins or Power Automate installed? Is it possible to provide a screen recording of this happening to make sure we fully understand? I’m able to export on both Mac and Windows without issue even after editing for a time, so I’m trying to figure out what might be different.
