When adding attributes such as shadow or stroke to text, it disables the animation effects (Previously Film Impact) such as type writer and other.

When I place text on the timeline and use the text animation transition, it works fine. However, when I add a shadow or stroke to the text, it disables the transition effect or disrupts the appearance of it.

    Yes, I see it also. Win11 - Beta 26.3 b11

Typewriter transition shows on character at a time, like typing with out stoke (bad), shadow (worse), and shows word by word ‘typing’ at best.

    Hi @Dovev.S
Do you have a project with an example of the issue you could share with us? Or can you share a screengrab or video of what you are seeing? Are you using the properties panel to add the drop shadow and the stroke? Or using the drop shadow effect in the effects panel? The drop shadow affects the text transition (Text Animator), which is unavoidable because of how it responds to motion. The workaround is to nest your text, then add a drop shadow with the Effects panel. Look for the drop shadow in,               Video Effects/Perspective/Drop Shadow.

    Here to help.

If the suggestion by @Ann Bens doesn't work, try rendering the timeline.

Might need to change the stacking order.
