Needs More Info

Whenever I play my video timeline the image which I have imported gets disappeared, but when I pause it, I comes back.

Bug Title: Imported Images Disappear During Timeline Playback in Adobe Premiere Pro 2026 (Version 26.5.2)

Software Version: Adobe Premiere Pro 26.5.2

Bug Description:

When I play my video timeline in Adobe Premiere Pro 26.5.2, imported images disappear from the Program Monitor during playback. However, as soon as I pause the timeline, the images immediately reappear in their correct positions.

This issue makes it difficult to preview and edit my video accurately because the images are visible when the timeline is paused but disappear when playback starts. I am using MacOS.

    Hello @EYEDEATIK

Welcome to the Premiere Forums. We need a bit more information to help identify the issue, and in this case, a screen recording of the issue would be most helpful.

    • Operating System: Please specify the exact MacOS, 26 Tahoe? 27 Golden Gate?
    • Chip (Mac Only): Specify which M-series Chip or CPU/GPU combo.
    • Video Format: Please specify the format (and ideally share a sample video).
    • Project Size: About how big is your project file? Is it in a Production? Approximately how many clips are involved in a rough estimate?

If you’re willing to share the project and media for us to test on our end I can DM you a private upload link I could share with our engineering team, but I’d also like to see if I can get you back up and running in your editorial. Below are some troubleshooting options.

    • Have you tried holding down the shift key on launch and clearing Media Cache? Does it resolve?
    • Do the clips that disappear have an effect on them, including a simple resize with the motion effects? Does resetting it resolve the issue (please do this out of a copy of your sequence)

Ann Bens other tips are also very helpful to try. Please let us know if any of this helps and if you’re willing and able to share the project with us.

    Best,

    Amy

Couple of things you can do:

resize program panel and set to Fit

set playback to full and high quality playback,

    render section,

    reset workspace,

    see how that goes.
