Why did Effects disappear? I click on "Effects" and it is identical to "color". No way now to do audio transitions, video transitions, etc.

Thanks for stopping by the Premiere forums and letting us know about that. The team is aware of this, and it has been corrected in v27 Beta and should also be out in the upcoming 26.5 release soon. 

As a quick workaround otherwise, you can place the panel(s) like Effects and Effects Control etc. where you’d like and save as Custom Workspace. There is also the All Panels workspace.
