Workspace configuration not being saved

Workspaces get restored to default everytime I start Premiere. If I delete default workspaces or make changes to them, the settings are not stored somehow...

In "C:\users\[username]\documents\adobe\premiere pro\12.0\profile-[username]\Layouts\WorkspaceConfig.xml" i can see, that everytime i start PP, my config is overwritten with the default workspaces...

Please make it happen, so i can work with my personalized workspaces 😞

Thanks for the report. There have been others on this topic. I'll merge them as soon as possible. I hope the team can provide a solution for this long-standing bug.

This has been an ongoing issue for years. I just got a new machine with a fresh install of Premiere. I arranged my editing workspace to my preferences and saved it as a new workspace. The next project I started the Project Panel reverted to its original location at the bottom left of the screen. This is the exact same behavior it's shown in the past. It's not a secret, many people have repeatedly notified Adobe of the issue. Please, please, please fix it.

Hello @FeedbackCommunityMember ,

Thanks for the message. It’s been a long time since you filed this bug. It looks like one from User Voice. Is that right? I apologize for the lack of a response here. I have seen this issue before and have heard it is still persisting.

I hope the team can address this issue as soon as possible. On behalf of Adobe, I apologize.

Thanks,

Kevin

Oh, and I'm on a 2016 Macbook Pro on the latest update to macOS Mojave and Premiere Pro CC 2019.

Same. Premiere keeps insisting that I want the default workspaces, despite me deleting them.

this is a actually ridiculous. Ive recreated all my workspaces with the new update, and loaded into the cloud settings, so at least now, every time o open premier or a project, I have to sync my settings, and select download from the cloud every single time, because Adobe keeps loading their ones. I've cleared and re-cleared preferences. saved new workspaces, deleted old ones, over and over and over. its really frustrating. Win7 i7 GTX780ti 32GBram
