Adding decals turns material black

As soon as I add a decal the material of any object turns black.

Cmon Stager-Team - you have to do better than that. A day without errors in stager is like winning the lottery. Are you really doing your best to make stager a great product? Often times I read things like "the team is aware of this problem" - but what are they doing about it? I lost countless hours just troubleshooting stager. At the time I'm not using stager that often for client-projects - If I had to - I would loose money with every project just because of the countless errors.

And the worst thing; the support is terrible. So many products that are a lot cheaper than adobe offer 24/7 live chat.

Hi @PascalKrebs! After looking at the screenshot, it looks like the scene's environment background is reflecting on the metal material applied to the cup.

We are not able to diagnose working files directly on the forum website. Can you email the Stager scene file and log file that you are seeing this issue in to Substance3d-bugs@adobe.com so we can investigate. If the file is under 20 MB you can attach it directly to the email.  If it's larger, you can send via a file transfer link like Creative Cloud assets, Dropbox, We Share, One Drive, Google Drive, or similar.

IMHO that can be a light effect.
