In Stager when I switch on Raytracing the GPU takes over and it raytraces in the window. But when I switch from Design to Render the GPU fails to load and switches to CPU rendering. An error pops up and I’m attaching the log it points to. It wouldn’t let me upload the log file without being zipped.CPU Rendering doesn’t do anything though, the render window never renders but says it’s rendering. When ever I switch between design / render now it warns me it’s rendering and switching will cancel it. But it doesn’t cancel it, it’s just stuck in rendering nothing.

I have a USDZ file that is only 33.8MB that images fine on my Mac in Preview and QuickLook, but when I try and import it into Stager, after it thinks for a few seconds, and the progress bar is about half way through, it pops up a dialog saying it can’t import it and report it here;Unfortunately I can’t share the data, but if there’s something I can check locally happy to do it.

I'm encountering a couple issues.  Anyone else on an an M1 Mac noticing that none of the Generative AI features work at all?  Like, there isn't any notification saying "this feature isn't available" or "unable to…" or anything.  No progress bar or indicator that stalls, literally just nothing happens.  Am i the only one that's happening to?  Plus, 50% of the time I do a "replace object…" it's another instance where nothing happens.  It's not a full crash, because I can still click on menus and palettes, just nothing that would actually trigger an action within the document.  Any ideas?

I am using the latest version of Stager and like many others, am experiencing the blank screen problem. I have tried every suggested -- deleting aero$ folders, checking graphics card, all of it. Nothing works. I can't even close the program without using forced quit. Unless someone can suggest something that actually works, I'm going to uninstall and try to forget this program. Adobe? On windows 10.

I'm on a M1 Max Macbook Pro and just started trying to use Substance 3D Stager specifically to try to use the generative AI features.  I set up the prompt, i pick options (or leave the options unchanged) and hit the generate button and nothing happens.  No "worrking on it," no "failed," no "generative features unavailable" no nothing.  Any ideas how to actually make this stuff work?

I can't export a model that I previously made in Painter, directly into Stager. It gives me the "Unable to Import Model" error. I did update my software (it worked before that), so it might be a compatibility issue. But it shouldn't be, considering there is a workaround that more or less contradicts that: The model is fine, as I can send to After Effects without issues. Since After Effects doesn't "import" files, but links them, a temporary GLB file is created. I located that file from within AE in Windows explorer and imported it without issues into Stager. Assuming Painter tries to export to Stager similarly (either sending a GLB directly to Stager, or creating one in a temp folder like with AE), the error thus seems to be with the software itself. The file works. Painter exports fine and Stager imports fine. It's the link between those programs that seems broken somehow. I can work with this for now, but I figured it would be handy to let the world know!

Hi. For me the Exponential preset dosent loop, it clicks a couple of degreas when going to last frame. I spent hours trying to figure out why, i can only conlude its a bug? Dose enyone have a work around?  Kind regards,Martin

Hi everyone,   Some of you have reported a blank viewport at launch, preventing the use of the application. After an investigation on our end, it seems to be a compatibility issue with the latest NVIDIA drivers and our latest updates. We are already working on solutions with NVIDIA, but in the meantime, rolling back to version 537.x drivers seems to fix the issue.   We are sorry for the inconvenience, and thankful for your reports.

My team uses box as our backup and versioning solution. We work from the client, which keeps an image of our folder structure on our local workstations and streams in the relevant file when it's in use. This is a vital workflow for our team, and it's needed to keep things backed up and easily accessible to distributed members. So, we're not changing that. However, when using Stager for mocking up 3D scenes, any PNGs, JPGs, OBJ, FBX (and probably more) will not open directly from the box client. On our end, it's the same as importing a file from our local files in the explorer (it looks the same, too). But Stager will refuse to import, giving an error message "There was a problem reading the file" or "UNABLE TO IMPORT MODEL: Stager supports poygon based geometry only. the file does not contain any supported content."I assume Stager is not allowing for the content to stream in before it checks for compatability, but I don't know for sure. So... I've been designing some 3D Art on Substance 3D Painter and when I go to Export the 3D Project to Substance 3D Stager and I keep getting the error: I have the full package in my Adobe Creative Cloud and for some unknown reason... It's not allowing me to connect and edit... I've already uninstalled and reinstalled and the error is still happening

I added a library of materials to use in Substance 3D Stager but there are no thumbnails. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried adding a new library and dragging in materials one by one, but nothing works. Substance 3D Stager version 3.1.3 on Windows

I recently downloaded the Substance 3D suite and seem to be having a problem when I try to import and place an image on a model. When I select the part of the model to upload the image, it just stays in a "loading" status and never uploads. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone else have this issue?

I keep getting GPU rendering error - moments after I turn GPU rendering on under ray tracing. My drivers are all up-to-date.

Hello, I've been having issues with a file.It appears to be unable to load the render motor ever since I tried rendering just once.

I've been unable to use my GPU using Stager since I began using the suite.  I have a pretty good graphics card.  (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060).  Please help.  Error said to post the log file to this forum.

Substace Stager file can't be saved

Hello everyone,I’m seriously frustrated with Adobe Stager. I’m using a brand-new MacBook Pro 2024 with the M4 Pro chip, and Stager crashes almost nonstop. It’s virtually impossible to build even basic 3D setups, let alone more complex scenes. I convinced my employer to adopt Adobe Stager as our primary 3D solution, but these constant crashes have pushed my project timelines beyond reason. For a costly subscription, the performance I’m getting is unacceptable. The interface and workflow in Stager are fantastic in principle, but that’s worthless if the software is practically unusable. I need clear information from Adobe: Is Adobe actively working on fixing these crash issues?When can we expect updates that actually address these bugs?Will there be native support for Apple M-series chips so I can finally tap into my machine’s GPU power? Any official response or workaround would be appreciated. Hi,I'm having an issue with Substance 3D Stager crashing immediately on launch in Windows 11.After investigating, I suspect it might be related to my Windows username, which contains special characters (in my case, it's an "ñ", but it could also be accented letters or spaces).The crash seems to happen before the UI even appears. I believe the issue is that the program tries to access user folders like C:\Users\[username] and fails when there are non-standard characters.Will this be addressed in a future update? Is there any known workaround besides creating a new Windows user?Thank you! I’d appreciate any information or confirmation if the dev team is aware of this issue.
