Place image on model -- NOT Loading.....

I try to place image on model.
restarted - no good.
reloaded - no good.

Decals:

AI file (RGB) - Size: 161kb -- hangs   Loading........ 
AI file (CMYK)  - Size: 987kb -- hangs   Loading........
PNG file  - Size: 47kb -- hangs   Loading........ 

Very Very Simple decals.

Have to continually Force Restart.

Any current issues??  No one else having problems?
