There seems to be about 20 threads talking about issues with the edting on the timeline, deleting clips etc....

Thought I would share I download and tested Build 12 (as per title) and these issues seem to have been corrected.

I have tested all the issues I had, and they all were restored.  If you can confirm your issues were resolved and post here (or if somethign remains broken).  keepign it all in one place may help others more quickly.

Me parece muy raro, de un momento a otro se desabilitaron casi todas las funciones del menu de click derecho... no puedo borrar un fragmento del timeline, pero si moverlo.

Es la primera vez que me pasa algo así.

I am also having this issue!

Hello,

I am experiencing a critical panel focus issue in Premiere Pro Beta that makes the Timeline panel unusable.

When clicking the Timeline panel, focus is immediately redirected to the Program Monitor. As a result, the Timeline panel cannot remain active and keyboard shortcuts that depend on Timeline focus do not work. This behavior starts as soon as a sequence is opened. The Timeline panel only receives focus when no sequence is loaded.

The issue occurs in all projects, including completely new empty projects. It occurs regardless of monitor setup (multiple monitors tested), with and without plugins. Preferences, workspaces, layouts, and migrated settings have all been fully reset. iCloud sync has been disabled.

Premiere Pro Stable works correctly on the same system. The issue only occurs in Premiere Pro Beta.

Thanks!

I just installed the new update V26.1.0 (BETA) and I noticed the most of the keys are not working. Even if I am using my Logitech Master 3s mouse. So far the only working keys are CTRL+S and Space Bar for Play. Other than that I can't cut, paste, or even render a video BUT all keys are working in my regular Premiere.

Please help.

when i move sequence work space from mane window i cant work on it like its look

In Premiere Pro Beta version 26.1.0 (Build 10), the Timeline panel will not gain focus and stays stuck on the Program Monitor. Even when a clip appears selected in the Timeline, right-click options like Cut, Clear, and Ripple Delete are greyed out and unusable. Clicking the clip or Timeline does not switch panel focus, making basic timeline actions impossible.

Hello! I had troubles with premiere pro so I had to switch to premiere pro beta and it worked out. However new version that I got today does not let me focus on timeline, so it's impossible to go thru files menu in the timeline. I can select all other windows. I also tried to restart both mac and premiere pro beta. I tried to open same project in premiere pro but it says I cannot since beat is newer version.

Detailed Description

While editing in Premiere Pro (Beta), parameter adjustment via click-and-drag, scroll-drag, or keyboard arrow keys becomes severely limited. Inputs will only register 1–3 increments and then stop responding, despite the UI remaining active and the application not being frozen.

Examples:

  • Clicking a numeric value and dragging left/right only moves the value 1–3 ticks

  • Arrow key nudging only increments/decrements 1–2 times and then stops

  • Scroll-drag behavior in panels (e.g., Effect Controls, zoom sliders) halts prematurely

  • Timeline, menus, and saving remain functional

This behavior makes precise editing effectively impossible.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Launch Premiere Pro (Beta) on macOS

  2. Open any project (issue also occurs in new projects)

  3. Navigate to Effect Controls or keyframing parameters

  4. Attempt to adjust values using:

    • Click + drag

    • Scroll-drag

    • Arrow keys

  5. Observe that values change only briefly before input stops
