There seems to be about 20 threads talking about issues with the edting on the timeline, deleting clips etc....

Thought I would share I download and tested Build 12 (as per title) and these issues seem to have been corrected.

I have tested all the issues I had, and they all were restored. If you can confirm your issues were resolved and post here (or if somethign remains broken). keepign it all in one place may help others more quickly.

In Adobe Premiere Pro Beta (Version 26.1.0), we are experiencing a critical failure where keyboard shortcuts and editing functions are completely unresponsive after media is placed onto a sequence. This behavior persists even after performing a clean reinstallation and resetting default preferences. Please find the detailed report of this issue/bug attached.

I am running Premiere Pro Beta on a Mac Studio M4 Max Sequoia 15.7.2. I cannot copy or paste anything within PP, such as clips on the timeline or effects like sound or lumetri. It appears like the copy/paste issue may be across the entire program.

I just created a brand new project and I am unable to delete or change clips my backspace key doesn't let me delete and if I right click on the clip mostly every feature is grayed out. What could be causing this?

premiere Pro Beta v26.1 Timeline is not selecting, When i select the timeline, the software automatically selects the program monitor. I cant speed the clips or cant do any right click function due to no timeline selection. Please solve the issue as soon as possible.

Bugs I've experienced so far:

+ and - signs don't work to zoom in/out the sequence, instead it works on the monitor.

Delete button doesn't work in the timeline.

I have been using Premiere Beta for the last week and it has been functioning properly.

Today, when I opened up my project, all editing tools in the timeline are not available. weird.png

This isn't specific to one project, I have made new projects and the issue persists. Hotkeys also are not working, even on default settings. I have tried restarting Premiere, restarting Mac, reinstalling Beta along with Pro 2025, etc. The issue is exclusive to Beta. Diagnostics tool found no issues with my hardware. Here's my system info:

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

This is a known bug and they're aware of it. You'll have to wait until a new daily build comes out that fixes this

Can't use timeline on PP Beta, can cut videos and audios, but cant edit them. When i click right click on mouse, everything is gray.

Tried everything, but it just don't work.

Like in the subject, I cant even zoom in or zoom out or delete. Basically any shortcut i try to do in the timeline isnt working now. It was fine last beta update.

After Updating the beta Version I cant work with copy, paste and so on.
Steps I performed:
Reset cach completely, reset all settings and restarting PC

Check for read only files - there are no

Deinstallation and going back to the previews version solved my issue
