Sequences not dragging into bins

I have a bin called CUTS and a sub-bin called "Archvie." When I try to drag a sequence from the Cuts bin into the Archive bin it looks like nothing has happened. But the sequence IS in the Archives bin, but it is also STILL in the Cuts bin. It doesn't seem to 'remove' the sequence.
