Standard Adobe DV25 AVI files very long import time and bad performance with CC2025

I have big problems with the Adobe DV25 (PAL SD) AVI files since version version cc2023.3 and higher.

(Including cc2025)

When I try to import a long DV25 file (> 1hour) it takes forever to get it imported in Premiere.

Premiere freezes for minutes.

When I import these files in cc2023.3 it's there in a second.

Note I see this with several new installed sytems!

steps

try to import a classic (PAL SD) DV25 avi file with a longer play duration > more than an hour

result

Premiere freezes several minutes, while using 100% diskread.

When you activate another app and switch back to Premiere, Premiere freezes and tries to reload all AVI files.

system setup

Win10 or Win11

Nvidia GTX 1660

Intel CPU I7 9900 with 32GB ram

Premiere CC2024.6.4 and CC2025

The only fix I had was installing CC2023.3 but that's not anymore available in creative suite!!
