Aero desktop crashes when importing assets - macos

This is a recurring issue. I have 2 user accounts set up on macOS. One will run Aero just fine while the other exhibits this bug. Not just this machine - any laptop with 2 users has this issue in my experience. Been happening for years across multiple laptops. I've attached my crash log. Thanks. 

Aero Version: 0.18.4 (241)

macOS Version: 13.4.1 (c) (22F770820d)

- launch Aero desktop

- create a new file

- add anythng from starter assets = CRASH
