Not being able to save a project

Hi,

I am working on a project, when I add a behaviour the project does not automatically save, thus when I create the new link the changes do not take effect. 

In the top right corner, I can see the blue loading circle, however, it goes on forever and does not complete.

Has anyone else had this issue?
