Premiere "Pro" 26.2 is freezing my system

Premiere "Pro" 26.2.2 is freezing my system. It is constantly running slowly, stopping for the spinning beach ball, blue ring updating... My system worked perfectly before the 26. update. The Update has destroyed my workflow and is costing me money! Premiere is unusable as it is now.
