Export to PNG just created ghost files???!!!

HELP I exported to PNG 8 different times to make sure my files saved and didn't save the project because of this. When I completed the project, all it shows is that in my Recent folder, there are empty file names that do not open. WHAT HAPPENED AND CAN I SAVE 4 HRS OF WORK?

To which folder and drive did you save your images?

Hopefully it was to your primary hard drive and not a cloud drive.
