I have created a website in portfolio    and bing webmaster tools says there is no H1 tag

I have followed the following steps

Add a Heading 1 Text Block

  1. Go to your Adobe Portfolio editor
  2. Click on your homepage in the left sidebar
  3. Hover at the very top of your content area — above your existing paragraph text
  4. Click the + button to add a content block
  5. Select Text
  6. Type or paste your main heading:

Andrew Warden Photography — Railways, Transport & Travel

  7. Highlight that text
  8. In the formatting toolbar change the style from Paragraph to Heading 1
  9. Click Save and Publish

and when previewing the page the text is not available only a blank text box

How can I get the H1 text block into the  webpage as this template suits the website i have created

One more thing to mention, you edit your Site’s Title from SEO settings.

    Hope that helps.

By default, Sawdust Title Pages like this one

    https://sawdust.myportfolio.com/wired

are contained in the <title> tags of your document’s source code, and in an <h1> heading on the page itself.  See screenshot from my browser’s Inspect Console (F12).

    <h1>Wired</h1>

Keep in mind that <h1> tags appear on individual Pages only.

The main site Gallery (landing page) contains your SiteName in <title> tags. Apart from navigation links and cover images, there is no text to speak of on Gallery pages.

I hope that helps to clarify how Portfolio Pages work.

Portfolio does not have a forum here for support... these links I've saved may help if someone who uses Portfolio does not read this to be able to give an answer to your question
