I would like to know the current password for my data sources in ColdFusion 11, what is the process for that... If the password is in encrypted form how to decrypt it.

Hi everyone,     I have a new web server running Server 2016 and CF 2018 Standard.  No issues with install and the cfadmin site opens and runs fine.  However, the additional sites we have added will not run cfm or any of the other associated file types.  All it does is prompt for a download.  I've checked everything I can think of and still no luck.  Below is the list of what I have tried.  I'm hoping someone out there has a silver bullet for this issue.  Appreciate any help you can provide.  Thanks! Have removed and added the web servers in the Adobe Web Server Configuration toolHave removed and added the app pools associated with the web sitesHave checked all file permissions to make sure both the CF user and the App Pool have accessHave checked all CF settings with a different server (same config) that is working as expectedHave checked all IIS settings with a different server as well

I have recently move to a new 2003 WIN server running IIS 6.0. the application has unexpectedly quit getting error when trying to uninstall colfusion 2018. Can pleas soem one give me work around for this. I need to unstall exisitng in reinstall new CF 2018

Hello,I have time-based tasks stored in a database table. I want to run a scheduled task in CF that runs every 10 min and scans the table for tasks that should have been completed in the last 10 minutes. Hi All,We use CF 2016 and we moved to Azure over a year ago. We maintain all the Component files under a separate folder. We recently had a code deployment to production and we noticed any changes we make to that components folder is not being seen by the application. We even tried making a simple cfdump to one of the existing components and still that is not being seen by the application. We recently installed CF update 13 as well. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We have coldfusion 2018 enterprise on a windows 2016 server. I need to install coldfusion 2018 update 6 and 7. Are the updates cumulative? Can I skip the update 6 and just install update 7? Thanks. William

Hello, we are working on the mobile app for the store. The ERP software use Cold Fusion to generate PDF the invoice for customer. But ERP database do not store the PDF file. The challenge is we need to send PDF invoice to customer mobile app, like the proven date of purchase and start the warranty period from the date of invoice. Anyone help us to know how to get the PDF after Cold Fusion done in ERP and put it into customer mobile app?

Has anyone built a coldfusion app that integrates with the SLACK API?  We have an inhouse  CRM application built in Coldfusion.  Wanting to add Slack to the app for users.  Any guidance is helpful.

Hello! We recently upgraded a server from Windows 2012R2 to Windows 2016. We are running Coldfusion 2016 update 13Since we upgraded servers, we cannot receive emails. When trying to verify mail server connection, it fails.All services worked on Windows Server 2012R2.Mail log error as follows:"javax.messagingexception: could not connect to SMTP host: xxx.xx.xx.xxx port: 25, response: -1"We are not allowed to use telnet but I ran the following script on ther server:test-netconnection xxx.xx.xx.xxx -port 25 and that returns that he tcp test succeeded=trueWindows firewall is off, defender is off (managed by an enterprise solution)Checked McAfee settings and cannot find that traffic is being blocked.Has anyone run accross this issue?

Has anyone else run into this? The download/update buttons are cut off (for all of the updates) This occurs in Firefox, Chrome and Edge. This is Windows 10 accessed via Remote Desktop. I know that I can download and install the update manually but thought this was odd.

We recently upgraded from CF 11 to CF 2016. Occasionally we are getting this error access denied ("java.io.FilePermission"... when trying to parse an in memory xml string. We have our application sandboxed, so we don't get this error when sandboxing is turned off but we do get when sandboxing is turned on. We are using jre1.8.0_221. Any ideas on what could be causing this and how we can fix it?

I have ColdFusion 2018 running with 8 instances on a virtual 4 core server that has 16gigs of memory. Of those 8 instances, only 4 of those instances are usually being used at a time.  We are having a problem that when one of those instances are being used, it can sometimes use ALL the available resources of the server that it's running on (both the CPU and its memory). Sometimes the actions being done are intensive and can take take a while to finish, but it can make the entire server unresponsive to the point that we can't even get into the ColdFusion Administrator to start and stop the instance. Are there settings someplace that can keep a single instance from overloading a server like this?
