I have made the changes I found in the Coldfusion 11 - Web Sockets via SSL discussion and I am getting "The connection was interrupted" in firefox when I try and go to the coldfusion administrator.  I have successfully gotten https working in a Apache Tomcat server without Coldfusion.  Is there something I am missing.  Here is my connector page from the server.xml file:<Connector port="8443" protocol="org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol" SSLEnabled="true"           maxThreads="150" scheme="https" secure="true"           clientAuth="false" sslProtocol="TLS"    keystoreFile="C:\keystore.jks"    keystorePass="MyPassword"   keystoreType="JKS"/>

Hi,I am facing an issue with my CF11 scheduler and I was hoping someone can help.My application has 2 servers which are load balanced. I have created a schedule through CF Admin console which is on one server. The scheduler just needs to run a URL which I have defined in the scheduler. When I run this URL manually (by copying it in the address bar and running it) it works fine. However, when I trigger it through the CF scheduler, it gives a message saying "This scheduled task was completed successfully."But when I go to my log (scheduler.log), I see "404 Not Found". I do not understand what is stopping this from running through the scheduler. We recently migrated from CF8 to CF11 and these scheduler used to run fine on CF8.

First, let me say that I would have loved if this post was about how I was working with cfexchange and Exchange Server 2010, but its not, because cfexchange does not work with Exchange 2010 and never has.  See Bug report 82576 and vote!Now, since I was not able to use cfexchange, I wrote an email parsing script using CFIMAP that was working until recently.  About the same time, I upgraded Exchange to SP1, I also upgraded CF9 to CF9.01.  Now, I am unable to use the GETHEADERSONLY or GETALL actions of CFIMAP.  I consistently get the following error:The cause of this exception was: javax.mail.MessagingException: Unable to load BODYSTRUCTURE.Does anyone else have a similar environment to test to see if CF9 or 9.01 works with CFIMAP on Exchange 2010 SP1?  Your input would be much appreciated.--Sean

We are running ColdFusion10 Ent. on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard and IIS ver. 7.5. Java Version: 1.7.0_45We have also implemented the CF lockdown guide.Things have been running quite smoothly for some time now. However, after applying CF update 14 on our QA server we noticed an huge performance hit for all CFHTTP calls when security sandbox is enabled. If we disable the ssb then performance returns to normal. Disabling the sandbox is not an option for us.Here is the difference for a simple cfhttp request.Sandbox enabled: 9109 ms.Sandbox disabled: 79 ms.Rolling back to update 12 fixes the issue.We've since applied update 15 and now 16 with no change in this performance. After applying all update we always re-run the connectors as stated by Adobe.Our local dev machines (mac and PC) do not seem to experience this behaviour so I'm a bit concerned it might have something to do with IIS/connectors etc. on the server.Any suggestions/advice would be much appreciated as we cannot apply updat

Hi,I'm using a VPS with CF 8.01 (Enterprise) and recently upgraded Java from 1.6.0_04  to 1.6.0_11 to fix a memory leak issue.Changed the jvm.config lines below to reflect the upgrade:#java.home=C:/ColdFusion8/runtime/jrejava.home=C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.6.0_11/jreThe system info in CF admin still says the java home is C:\ColdFusion8\runtime\jre and the version is 1.6.0_04What's worse, is that in CF admin under 'Java and JVM' I now get the following error:Element JDKPATH is undefined in FORM. I have some fields that are varchar, however, they have numbers in them.  JSON does not return them inside quotation marks because it is interpreting it as a number.  Real numbers do not work, either.  Is there a workaround?<cffunction name="jqgridCP" access="remote" returnformat="json">I'm trying to populate a cfgrid with data from a cfquery.  The fields that have numbers as data (not all do) but are varchar in the database return empty cells.It appears to be adding .0 to the numbers.

Am having difficulties getting to talk to tech support about this one.  Work for a Municipality which got ColdFusion V 3.1.2. installed 7 years ago before Adobe ownership.      Water plant stores O&M manuals in it.    It has apparently never been updated.    Now the IT dept. wants to update the server because is Windows Server 2003 and is running out of support, but does not know what to do about updating ColdFusion.My questions; if is web-based, why a local server is needed?   If so, can the keycode be moved to a new server with a 65-bit OS?.   Is it a new version of ColdFusion needed?   If so, does a new product and/or support has to be purchased?I appreciate any help on this.

I have two report functions:1. counts all the occurrences of courses that match a specific school year.2. gives me a total count of coursesI also need to count the occurrences of  courses that do not match a specific school year. How can I subtract the value from the first report from the second report function?Is there a better way to do this?

I received a CF11 marketing email today from Adobe with the Subject line: "Adobe ColdFusion 11: lots more to explore!".  So I clicked the link at the bottom to whitepapers and other resources.  I was surprised there are no datasheets, whitepapers or anything regarding CF11 here Data sheets and White papers | Adobe ColdFusion 11 Family.  Why not?  Makes it seem like Adobe doesn't care.  It's especially odd given that it's in a promo email specifically for CF11 asking me to "explore", yet there was nothing to explore.  This is feedback for Adobe marketing.  Thanks for listening.

Hi, all,We've got IDA's who are testing our work by attempting to SQL-inject harmless code into our project(s).Because of the way we have both DEV and PRODUCTION set up, whenever their attempts cause an error, all they see is a generic error message that comes with a 200 response.  This is going into the webserver log as 200.In order to see what happened, the IDA's have to pull the PCAP data and manually scan that, looking for the events.Is there a way to trigger something other than 200 responses, so all they have to do is look at the webserver logs?(Yeah.. I know..  a dev actually trying to make an IDA's job a little easier????  Has Hell frozen over??)V/r,^_^

Hi, We noticed that a call to https://www.googleapis.com/ via CFHTTP stopped working after our sysadmin switched the IP of our web server. The error from ColdFusion is:JSON parsing failure at character 1:'C' in Connection Failure After researching, I tried using the keytool ([CF 10 root]/jre/bin/keytool.exe to import the top-level certificate (GeoTrust Global CA), which was exported from Google Chrome 42 in DER format.I used the following flags:-import -v -alias GAGLOBAL -file [.cer location] -keystore cacerts -storepass [password]It appeared to add correctly, as it displayed the owner, issuer, etc. and asked if I wanted to trust the certificate. I replied "yes", and it responded "Certificate added to keystore" [Storing cacerts]. I then restarted the CF 10 application service. The same error persists.Please advise.Thanks,Dave

I have a ColdFushion (9) function calling a SelfHosted WCF C# WebService. I publish it to my Virtual Server, and call it from SoapUI and it works.When I call it from ColdFushion using CFInvoke, I get a red box with a list of methods.When I call it from ColdFushion using CFHTTP, I get xml with structure names but no data. I cannot help but think that how I receive the response in CF might have something to do with not getting my email record(s) data, since it works in Soap UI.

I have a Calculated field that is set up for a Distinct Count the Perform Calculation on looks like this:(query.prg_cod EQ "UNDERGRAD " AND query.level_ LTE "2" AND query.soc_sec)Sometimes it counts the when the prg_cod is not equal to "UNDERGRAD " and sometimes it counts when the level is "3" or "4". The query is inserting the same ID of one of my students the number of times that I specify. Is there a way to loop through the insert so that all of the different ID's of the inactive student are inserted for each new row? Hi,I'm using CFGRID to display the result of a search function using a query on a page. The user may hide some columns from the CFGRID page.  Then the user exports what is shown (only selected columns) on the page.  Currently, the user can export to PDF but all columns are included. As a temporary solution, I advised the user to use PREVIEW on the page then print to Adobe Writer to create a PDF.    I spent time searching in the internet, but haven't found any solution.  There's one blog from Raymond Camden - Exporting from CFGRID | Raymond Camden's Blog, where he mentioned about ColdFusion.Grid.getGridObject using CF8.  When I looked at the CF documentation, it led me that this object is using Ext JS JavaScript library, which I'm not familiar with.  I am using CF10, which seems to be using Ext 3.1 version (?). My question is....Is it possible to export to PDF only the selected columns from my CFGRID page?  Anyone has done it?Where can I find

Everyone,This may be a very basic question, but I am just not getting it.  What I am looking to do is the following:  I have Meraki wireless access points installed and I want to use the API search through the list of MAC addresses to see which users are connected and display that they are in the office on an internal web page.The Meraki's send the data in JSON format.  This is where I am having a problem figuring out what to do.  I know I need to send the JSON to a Coldfusion page but I am not sure how I should be capturing the data on the Coldfusion page.  I have tried reading the examples but I am just not sure where to begin.  Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance.Dan

My CF application links to the MS SQL database of my accounting application. If a specific record is being edited in the accounting application and I try to update that specific record using the coldfusion application, the coldfusion system hangs until the accounting application releases the record. This is fine except the user in the accounting application may have left the editing screen open and the record may not be released for minutes or longer. Once this is the case the hanging coldfusion request creates further locks.How can I manage the situation so that I can send a message to the user that they cannot gain exclusive access to the record and so cannot update it until the record is free thus preventing the hanging situation which escalates the problem?RegardsRichard
