Using CFDOCUMENT to convert html to PDF, but the resulting PDF pages are buggy. For instance table cell backgrounds bleed outside the table cell borders, and lots of other rendering issues that make it hard to use this tool. Has the PDF conversion been upgraded in CF10, or should I look for another PDF converter? And if so, which one?

I am using Cold Fusion  10,0,9,284568  which was installed as part of a software package purchased from a third party called Sunapsis. This software prepares mass email messages to be sent to our students however, our servers are limited as to how many message can go out at a time. Because of this we are only able to send about 25-30 emails out of a 1000 the rest go into an undelivr directory. I can take those and resend them but I still only get out about 25. Is there a feature in adobe that allows us to send mass email in smaller groups?

Hi all,I am at a loss how to access a variable that's set inside of a cfdocumentitem tag. There is an insane number of files in this folder, and I need to just delete the contents OR better yet delete the folder and recreate it. Cannot do either. I have not tried to stop CF7 MX and then tried to delete the folder. Not sure if that will help.

Change Default Connection Properties for SQL Server / ColdFusion 7 I've started working with indexed views in my Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database. Whenever a SQL statement alters a field ( INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE ) used by the index on an indexed view certain connection settings must be set. SET ANSI_NULLS ON SET ANSI_PADDING ON SET ANSI_WARNINGS ON SET CONCAT_NULL_YIELDS_NULL ON SET NUMERIC_ROUNDABORT OFF SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER ON SET ARITHABORT ON When ColdFusion connects to SQL server the ARIHABORT setting is OFF causing SQL statements to fail. I currently have two workarounds for this: 1. Use a stored procedure created with the required settings. 2. Run a cfquery containing the required settings before the UPDATE, INSERT, or DELETE cfquery statement. Questions: 1. Is it possible to configure ColdFusion's connection to set ARITHABORT ON by default? 2. Does Microsoft's JDBC driver use this setting by default? After trying to use a stand-along version of Adobe ColdFusion Builder 2 (built on Eclipse) that was slow as molasses I am, instead, trying to run CFB as a plug-in to a standard Eclipse installation.  So far so good.  However....I have a Logitech mouse with a ton of buttons I've customized with Logitech's SetPoint to perform common tasks such as Copy, Cut, Paste, Undo, etc....These buttons are not working in Eclipse.  I've tried messing around in the key mapping areas but it doesn't appear as if the key commands are being sent in from the mouse at all.Here's the oddity: When I was using CFB as a stand-along install these buttons were working.  Now, as a plug-in to Eclipse they are not.Is there a setting somewhere in Eclipse to allow key commands from external apps like Logitech SetPoint?

I have a file that queries orders and writes them out in xml to be polled by some software that reads the order into an erp system. It reads fine but I can't parse an xml reponse that will update order status with xmlParse , it throws an error. I get the software response xml with GetHTTPRequestData().content fine. I just can't do anything with it there. As soon as I add xmlParse it errors out. I can write out the response to a seperate file and work on it there , but it get's overriden on the next iteration.I'm looking for an alternate solution. Is there any way to create some code to "catch" the xml in the seperate file I write or post it to ,  but not have the the code that will update my status table overwritten each time the request is sent? This is not a web service , just plain xml with http post 's.Tks.

I'll try to make it simple, but ask any questions if I need to explain further.I have a situation where fields in the database are datatype decimal.  Some of these datatype fields are NULL, which is good.When other non-decimal datatype fields in the CFGRID are updated but the datatype decimal fields are not updated it is not passing NULL to the CFGRIDUPDATE.  It appears that it is passing the following:   ,,,,,,  With no single quotes around each individual variable and even though that would appear to be NULL to me and there were no updates, it causes the error:  Invalid data '' for CFSQLTYPE CF_SQL_DECIMAL.  And yes, "Allow NULLS" is checked in the Database.Here is an example of the source code after the CFGRID is submitted to the CFGRIDUPDATEs.  You can see that after 'CI' there are a lot of commas and no values because no values were entered but they are not recognized as NULL.  [4063,'A053965','13-14     ','','','134

I have a form with a calendar at the top, below it is a list of items each with a check box. Here is a wonderful visual of it - CalendarCheckbox | Col | Col | ColCheckbox | Col | Col | ColCheckbox | Col | Col | ColI want it so you select the date and it gets passed into the database in the same row as the one (definitely one, multiple is better) that has been checked by the user.I was trying an INSERT INTO with a WHERE statement but apparently you can't do that. So if I can use a WHERE with INSERT INTO, how can I identify which row to insert the info? Currently it is passing the dates but it creates a new row.I didn't think posting the code is neccisary for this question but if anyone wants to see it let me know and I will post it. THANKS!

On two occasions, someone has managed to insert what appears to be malware code into one of my includes.   I won't post the actual code, but it consists of a CFHTTP tag that references an IP address, and a CFOUTPUT tag that outputs the value of the CFHTTP.   The site is not tied to a database, we only use CFINCLUDEs to simplify global edits (we're relatively new to ColdFusion).  The site is hosted by one of Adobe's recommended CF hosting services.   Any thoughts on how someone could be adding this code and what we can do to stop them?

Cfcompile trashes my templates, using the syntax of in a DOS window:c:/coldfusion9/bin>cfcompile -deploy C:\coldfusion9\wwwroot C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\filestocompile C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\filescompiledTemplates compiled no problem in cf7, but both my cf8 and cf9 trash them.
