Digital Editions

I downloaded a book from the library in EPUB format.  I opened Adobe Digital Editions and it is there.  The application also 'found' my Sony e-reader PRS350.When I try to drag the book and drop onto the e-reader, I get an error....  CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - no permission to copy the book.This is my first time using this application.  Any ideas why this is happening?Thanks

I can't access anything in ADE anymore - books are there but I have a blank screen except for the top tool bar "File - Edit - Reading - Help"

I have a couple problems, they seem to be cascading.  Should have taken screen shots, but alas. Story:Bought a book and downloaded it.  Went to read it and got:   Unable to open <Book> Errors were encountered in this item.  It was exactly this thread: Errors were encountered in this item Followed through the thread, Copying permissions were allowed, in fact everything was allowed.  Farther down it said to move the book and try again.  No luck.Tried to deactivate/reactivate the computer.  Did that...almost.  Now I can not reactivate because i get this error: "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. HiI'm facing a big problem, all my ebooks which was stored on adobe cloud is not exist anymore without no reason!!only one book is exist which I uploaded a couple of days ago.I don't know what is going on but all my comments and hints are saved on this ebooks and saved in adobe cloud.Also I can't find the ebooks on my account!!please your advise, this is critical to me.Message was edited by: Ahmed Graihy

I installed Digital Editions 4.5.126523, Several items are grayed out: Add Highlight, Play Media Overlay, Double Page View, Show Page Numbers. Also the help file returns a not found from Adobe. How do I fix this? I have not authorized this since all books are ones I currently possess.

Im trying to download some ebooks, however i keep getting an error message that reads error getting licensee. License Server Communication Problem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER, i think they may have been downloaded before digital editions was authorized, but now I can't access them at all.Can anyone help solve this issue, the ebook vendor says it isnt there problem but an Adobe one

Hello Dears,I saw different simlar questions without any answer. Let me explain why I have 2 different Adobe ID's:My wife had the bad idea to offer me professional ebooks and used her own Adobe ID to buy them. The only way I found to read them was to install ADE on my Mac with her credentials to be able to read it.I also had the bad idea to buy other professional ebooks with my own Adobe ID. I cannot install them on ADE due to the fact I authorized my wife's ID on my computer...I tried to erase the autorization but it was not possible...I tried to uninstall/reinstall ADE but it systematically reinstall my wife's ID...This means I cannot read the books I bought due to the absence of User-friendliness of this product I cannot understand. I am becoming fed of Adobe's "solutions"...Can anyone propose a solution to resolve this?Thanks in advance!Jean-François Degand

Hi Adobe,I am encountering the issue of Connection error detected. Whenever I use Adobe Digital Editions to open acsm files, the message appears and I cannot get access to the Ebooks. I have tried all the methods that were suggested from the forum but none of them worked. I have tried V3.0 V2.01 V4.5.10. I have tried to re-authorize my account. I have tried to reset my IE settings. I have tried to re-download the acsm files. Nothing worked! So frustrating! Can anyone help me get out of this?

I'm developing a new device type to read ebooks. We have developed a mobile app to read ebooks in our device, and we need to have access to Adobe Digital Editions. Our target is to enable our users to login to different book stores, and enable them to download their purchased ebooks and read them in our new device.Could you give me more information about how to continue researching and working?

I am running MacOS Mojave and am getting messages regarding a number of your products that are 32 bit that won't run with this OS.  I need to get 64 bit versions of these products.  How can I get 64 bit versions of Adobe Application Manager; Adobe Digital editions; Adobe reader; Adobe Updater; Uninstall product; and probably others that I haven't found.  Where can I find 64 bit software of these files?

I have installed ADE on my old Android phone and can open EPUB3 books with no problems.I have also installed ADE on a newer Android tablet but there ADE wont open the same EPUB3 books.All books are without DRM.ANY ideas what I am doing wrong?Should ADE run on all Android versions or only on some?thanks for helping!

Hi  I have an ebook on my laptop but it wont show on my mobile, I've checked that I have the 'enable download' setting switched on my mobile, but still no joy.  I've not changed user names or anything like that so no idea how I'm supposed to view the book on my phone.  Other books are showing from the same publicist.

Recently i have changed my laptop and mobile to new and trying to authorize Adobe Digital Editions. While I am authorizing my new device, I am getting the following error message as shown in the screen shot. I am not going to use any of my old devices. So, could you please help me to remove all authorized old devices and allow me to add my new devices.I have removed authorization from old mobile and then tried to add to my new device, still same issue. Oh My GOD. that means adobe has to support. No other way but getting support from adobe is through forum only ???? I am waiting for response for long while.

Hello, I don't know how but my adobe digital edition restarted on my laptop. I've lost all my acquisition and now that I want to reassociate my adobe id to program it tell's me that it's already associated to another computer or mobiles devices. I erase the app from all my devises but the message still there. How can I restarts my adobe digital edition and reassociated my adobe id to my laptop.thanks for your advices.Regardsbau

I can download e-books from my local library to my laptop, but I get an error message when trying to send the e-book to my ereaders, KOBO and BQ .The error message is- No permission to copy book. I have had no problems Before. I have a new laptop. Could that be the problem? I am not so good with computers….

Hello there dear customer service!I don't know why they would have customer service for this horrible product (ADE), I think it would be easier to just listen to the community and fix it rather than have customers vent their frustration at innocent CS. I have to use ADE for the ebooks required by my university. Now the issue - the highlights don't show after the application is closed. The ancillary annotation file is present, but it doesn't show the highlights. Every single highlight i've made just disappears the next time I open the ebook. This happens every time with certainty of 150%. A book i went through and highlighted throughout has ZERO highlights in it. I read scrupulous law textbooks with ADE and it is incredibly frustrating to go though a case and then loose all the progress, every time!I'd like to know if the highlight feature is actually supposed to highlight and save your highlight for future use (this isn't clear at this point) or was it intentionally designed to be poin

I am a Building Code Official, Plans Examiner.  I have set of building plans that will not accept my approval stamp.  How can I change the setting on the plans to accept my stamp of approval.   The originator of the document is not available to sent me new copies.

I previously downloaded Digital editions on my laptop and I just go a new desktop. I installed it as normal and then it prompted to sign in  with my Adobe ID and password to authorize the computer but now its saying that the account is not correct with the vendor? I just installed an Adobe Digital Editions on my Windows 10. I went to my overdrive library and downloaded som e-books. They still just look like gibberish. Is there some step the instructions left out? What can I do to make this work?
