Has anyone had problems authorising their computer with ADE?

How does one recover the password for an Adobe ID to a computer authorization so that it can be erased and reset to a new one?

Recently bought a laptap running Windows 10 Home in S mode, in which I can only download from the Microsoft store.  I cannot download Adobe Digital Editions.  Any idea as to how to download it (I do not wish to opt out of S mode) or know of some other program that opens acsm files?

How do I fix this error?????

I an unable to download ebooks, from my  library, with ADE 4.0 and would like to use ADE 3.0. Would like an answer on how to accomplish this.

Recently I purchased actuarial material from acted which had to be accessed from ade. But suddenly ADE has stopped launching and I have to get printouts of the material to prepare for the exams. Also I cant get printouts from other system as it can be only done from the system on which the material is first downloaded. What should i do?

I am stuked with 2 adresses for ADE. It is probably why i can't download my books from libraries. I have had this problem once before than it started to work. I'm really tired of all these problems and thinking about stopping to buy ebooks. I would like to get rid of these adresses and start again but can't find how! Help please! Since ADE it is completely crazy...

I received in my email an eBook (as an acsm file) as a present. I'm trying to use Adobe Digital Editions to convert it into en ePub. However, I get this error message:Unable to downbload. Error getting license. License server communication problem: E_Google_Device_Limit_reached.How can I circumvent this error?

Hello. I was using Adobe 4.5.9 like usual, checking out books from my local library. However, this morning when I transferred my new books into my authorized Kobo through Adobe Digital Editions, I couldn't open them! It said I needed to re-authorize my Kobo. So I did. Now it said I had to re-re-transfer them so I could open them! So I did. Still the same thing.I remembered having that many issues with the new Digital Editions, so I went and installed the 3.0 version. Now when I try to put my new books into the software, it says : ''Error! Check activation!'' But my computer is ALREADY authorized. And there's no button to de-authorize it.How the heck am I going to read those books now?Thank you very much!- Catherine

Meine neu gekauften e-books wurden von meiner app auf dem mac nicht in die app auf meinem ipad übertragen, obwohl das ja eigentlich automatisch passieren sollte; der automatische Download ist aktiviert. Hat hier jemand tipps?

No matter which account I try I can not get it authorized. Ideally whichever account is connected to my kobo be best but I have no idea which one that is.More then likely my oldest two, which I've tried both as well as more recent.Is there a way to find out which account is associated with kobo and how I can authorize it without getting a"Incorrect login ID or password for the selected ebook vendor. Please try again."I pretty much wasted the entire morning on this.

Bsr, suite PC HS j'ai réinstallé Adobe Digital Edition sur un nvx PC. J'ai téléchargé 3 livres dans ADOBE sur mon PC : RAS. Quand j'ai voulu les transférer sur ma liseuse, 1 livre OK mais les 2 autres impossible, message "CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED. Alors que j'ai acheté ces e-book sur e-Pagine, je n'ai jamais eu de refus de les transférer sur la liseuse, pourquoi 2 livres ne passent pas ?2e question : puis-je récupérer l'historique de mes e-book sur ADOBE digital edition ?Merci pour la réponse

Bonjour, je viens d'acheter un ebook, mais il m'est impossible de l'ouvrir par ADE (qui est a ma connaissance la seule possibilité d'ouvrir un .acsm) Lorsque je tente d'annuler l'autorisation un message "Impossible d'annuler l'autorisation. Veuillez réessayez ultérieurement." apparait. Saul problème, le temps ne change rien à l'équation. J'ai essayé de le réinstaller; idem.Que dois-je faire pour que ce maudit logiciel qui a le monopole fonctionne ?

hi there, am hoping there is a fix for this. i purchased an ebook from Kobe - which is supposed to be able to go into digital editions (my prefered ebook reader). so I got it uploaded OK but I can only view half the page ie top half of the page but not the bottom half.  There is no scrolling capability for some reason. Is there a way this can work?Thank you

Kindly help. The Adobe Digital Editions on my PC is already authorized with a user ID that I can't recognize. I'm failing to erase the authorization because it's requiring me to enter the password; I don't know the password, even the owner of the user ID. Please help

Digital Editions is standard product which you have to use in my understanding, if you like to read newspapers from the public library organisation in Germany. I'm pretty disappointed about the features and support like zoom features regarding this product. If someone asking why ? Because Iur are not able to read the newspaper in the acsm format at the andriod mobile phone.Is it really an surprise in a mobile world that an usual end user have this wishes? How many people haven't not enough money to use  a PC or tablet instead of a mobile phone.l? It is your decision to think of a enlargement from necessary features. But for me it still not usable. I recently bougth a book from Google Play and wanted to read it in ADE. My ADE is authorized to my Adobe ID. I downloaded the epub-version of the book, and tried to open it in ADE, but it wouldn't open. It said that it is the wrong vendor ID.Then I tried to de-authorize my computer and open the book again. Now it worked, but I want to have this book on more devices, so I once again authorized my computer to my Adobe ID.When I try to open my book now it says: "Unable to download /.../ E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED" (see picture)Can anybody please help me in this matter?

I have loaded the ADE on to my computer and am attempting to get library books transferred to my KOBO --I have done this in the past and never had any issues  I can see the book on the shelve and the kobo devices come up when I plug it in and I drag the book to the kobo , and the book come up on my list and I can not open it  Frustrating !!!!! Hi,I've ebooks borrowed from the library on digital editions. But when I connect my Sony ereader to the computer, it is not showing in digital editions. I can drag the books in finders from the files to the ereader, but instead of them being in DCIM, they are in the media files and the ereader is not recognising the books as legitimate. The reader icon also didn't show when I use Reader for Mac apps recommended by Sony. I've done hard reset and reinstall the softwares but nothing works. Can someone help please?Rebecca

On 30.12.2015, I purchased a pdf electronic book from the French bookseller, Les libraires francais.  The book was only readable via Adobe Digital Editions.  On 09.12.2018, I attempted to read it again, but received the message that the book belonged to the account of another user, even though I was the purchaser and on the same computer was using the same version of Adobe Digital Editions to which the book had been installed when purchased.  I then updated my version of ADE and attempted to upload the book from the original link I had been given by the seller.  I then received a message that the book needed the vendor's ID and password in order to be accessible. When I contacted the bookseller, they refused either to send me a new link to the book or to provide the necessary information to access the downloaded item or to g

I have a macbook pro and am trying to authorize Digital Editions so that I can use it. I am able to log into Adobe on the internet so I know my id and password  but when I try to authorize Digital Editions I am getting the error:  Actvation server error - code  E_AUTH_NOT_READY. I have deleted and reinstalled Digital Editions but this has done nothing. What do I do?
