Digital Editions

Hello,I am new to Digital Editions and how I to transfer my library from my computer to my device.I am sorry but I will have to give a bit of history before I can explain my problem. I have a NOOK SimpleTouch Glowlight, which originally was supported in the UK by Barnes and Noble, and I have to say worked rather brilliantly. However, B&N decided to pull out of the UK market and since then I have been trying to find a good way to buy and install Ebooks on my device. I used Calibre as a way of organising and transferring any Ebooks I purchased and it seemed to work very well. However I recently started purchasing from Ebooks.com which has a great list of titles and a reasonable prices. These are easy to buy and download But They have to be opened via Adobe Digital Editions. That is fine as Adobe Digital Editions seems to work as easily as Calibe.My only problem is the the book covers do not download to the NOOK, they download to the Digital Editions Library on my computer (a desktop

when trying to open a new e-book in Adobe digital editions I receive an error message saying it is already licensed to another user.

Bonjour, Je ne suis pas capable d'ouvrir le logiciel digital edition 4.5.8. J'ai désinstallé et réinstallé 2 fois sans succès. Je n'ai aucun message et je suis avec Windows 10 sur un portable. Il y a encore 2 semaines j'étais capable de l'ouvrir et d'avoir accès à mes livres numériques que je télécharge à partir de la bibliothèque municipal. Je n'ai rien télécharger de nouveau comme logiciel ou autre. Est-ce possible de remédier à ce problème.MerciJosée Moreau

Have reinstalled several times to no avail. Whn attempting to copy an '.epub' from ADE to my Kobo Aura One, the copy function freezes and will not complete. Issue has only appeared since the new Win 10 1803 installation. Any and all help appreciated.

I have purchased an ebook that I cannot access as it is looking at an email address that is no longer in use - I don't know the password

Following a memory problem with my computer, I had to reload all my apps. I was previously running Digital Editions version 3 without any problems, but upgraded to version 4.5.  when re-installing. Now it doesn't recognise my ereader (Sony PRS-505) when I connect it to the computer. Can anyone suggest a resolution or explain (simply, not too computer literate!) what I am doing wrong. I manage all of my ebook in ADE. I pre-ordered two books that were published yesterday. When I download them and try to add them to ADE, I get the message:I have tried this on my network at work and at home. Same error message. I have entered the URL "adeactivate.adobe.com" into many web pages that test if the site is down for just me or for everyone. Each says that it isn't just me. How can I get my pre-ordered books into my ADE library? When will the server be back up?

Hi there.I am stupid, I know. My Adobe Digital Editions asks me to Authirize my computer. When I enter my Adobe ID and password it keeps responding:Activation Server errorcode: E_AUTH_NOT_READYDigital Editions encountered an error on the activation server.Well I've purchased an e-book and I cannot open it because of this "Activation Server error". Hello goodevening, I tried to log in on adobe digital editions to authorize for a locked ebook. I logged in with my Adobe ID but got the following message: The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again' I have only one email adres which I used to purchase the ebook and created an adobe ID. What can I do to read the book?

I had to reinstall digital editions on new hard drive. Now the Digital Edition and my Nook have different authorization numbers. Each device uses the same account email and log in.

My book downloads from  my city library and ADE recognizes my nook as an external device. The book transfers to the nook and shows in its library however when I try to open it in the nook the above error dialog occurs. HELP PLS@ !

Book was previously authorized. Today I went to access and get message that I'm unable to open and not authorized on computer. I can login to Adobe Digital Editions, but I cannot authorize Ebook with same login information - it says unable to authorize. Please help resolve.

I have installed and uninstalled both ADE 4.5 and ADE 3.1 and re installed ADE 3.1. When I try to put my downloaded library book into my e reader it says error. Help! I don't know what I am doing wrong and although I love my e reader the idea was to get e books from the library and I can't do that. My husband is fed up of me trying after literally hours of attempting to do it. Help me please!!!

L'applicazione funzionava correttamente fino a quando a seguito di un ripristino necessario del pc, è stata eliminata. Alla successiva reistallazione di Adobe, nonostante i libri acquistati si vedano correttamente all'interno della libreria, mi viene contestato un problema di licenza e non mi viene quindi concesso di accedere al contenuto degli ebook, nonostante abbia più volte provato ad inserire le credenziali corrette. Qualcuno mi potrebbe essere d'aiuto ? Grazie

I know there are similar issues posted out there, but the Digital Edition 4.5.8 on Windows 10 version 1709 keeps crashing.  I started with the available edition in the fall of 2016,  The system worked fine but started having issues though recent updates including 4.5.8.  I have uninstalled it several times and continued to try to get it to run again.  I know that 4.5.8 was supposed to fix security issues, but after I down load my epubs the system just crashed and won't let me exit out.  When downloading the epub or PDF they don't show up, and then the system freezes.  I have to start task manager to get the program to close, and when restarted it just sits there empty.  what is the fix for this, this is ridiculous.  All of the epubs that I have purchased have been through google books or from my university.  This is a significant problem and fixed, does anyone have any ideas outside what is listed in the currently asked questions to fix the

Hello, I have installed Adobe Digital EditionsI 4.5.8 but am unable to downlaod the "Prise en maind'Adobe Digital Editions(EPUB, 64 Ko)" which is nedded o convert teh files to EPUB files.  I am using Windows 10Error Message received:The requested URL /content/dam/acom/en/products/digital-editions/assets/welcome.epub was not found on this server.Could somebody help? I've just had to purchase new laptop, and have installed Adobe Digital Editions on new laptop but having trouble opening books copied to new laptop  installed on old laptop, can't remember sign on details created 6 yrs ago, had to sign in with Google account, but not recognised with Adobe ID, can old details be retrieved or is there an easier way to be able to copy, download and open books from old to new? The Google sign in doesn't let me Authorise new laptop as details don't match what was set up on old laptop.

Suddenly in the past week, I can't transfer books, either DRM or DRM-free, from my computer to ADE. Have not had this problem in the past 3 years! I'm using ADE 3.0, but I've tried installing ADE 4.5. ADE 4.5 doesn't appear to be compatible with my library's Overdrive software. I have even tried deleting a few books on my eReader and re-installing them. They appear to transfer to the eReader, but when I try to open them, I get a blank page. I'm using a KOBO Aura reader, with current firmware. Also, the books I've bought from KOBO don't exhibit this problem. It's only when I try to transfer (import) a book from ADE to the eReader that this happens!!!!

I went through all the steps - hundreds of times.  I download a book from the Public library, hook up my Kobo, move the book from ADE's Library to my Kobo - ALL AS PER INSTRUCTIONS -  I wait to make sure I'm not interrupting any download in progress.  Remove my Kobo.  Wait to make sure it loads.  The screen shows the book I downloaded as a black cover and when I open it, all I have is a blank page and the note that it is 99% read.I'm pretty sure this is an ADE problem (I have always hated Adobe and my hate grows and grows anything I have anything to do with them)Anyone have any ideas?????
