don't open adobe digital edition after saving it????+

Hi I have always used Digital Editions to load books onto kobo and it works, now also have a kindle for the kids and want to load their books its not recognising the kindle how do I do that please I have tried to register the kindle no luck, the online chat told me to ask this question here, Please can someone assist thank you.

I purchased 2 textbooks about a month ago to put onto my MacBook Pro laptop. Unfortunately, my MacBook got water damaged a couple days ago and I had to purchase a new laptop ( a Dell laptop with Windows). I am so behind in school work because I can't figure out how to get the textbooks onto my new laptop. Hello Forums/Discussion Group/or Other People that are hopefully more helpful that Adobe Customer Sever Chat,I recently have been having trouble downloading ebooks on Adobe Edition version 1.7 (apparently that was very old).  So, I installed the newest version in hopes this would solve the problem or errors of being unable to communicate aka error cannot download said books.  Sadly though this did not solve my problem.  In the process of downloading new version, it was unable to uninstall old version.  So, yes, to answer any questions I still have 2 version on my laptop.  I don't mind, I just want to be able to download my ebook so I can transfer it on to my Nook.  I have had several errors now with new version, which still includes not being able to transfer downloaded ebook to this program.  First it told me I needed to sync my old version to new version, okay, try that.  But before I can do that I need to log in to my Adobe account.  Whic

I want to un-authorize my computer, but when I try, it says "Unable to erase authorization.  Please try again after some time."  Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?

I have successfully been reading books on my desk top and have now authorised my laptop. I have 2 PURCHASED books on desk top but they are not appearing on laptop - HELP please! Do I need to shut down computer and restart to enable them to show?

Ich habe beim Ausleiheportal Ebookplus Bücher ausgeliehen, dann wieder zurückgegeben und aus der ADE Bibliothek gelöscht. Beim erneuten Starten von ADE erscheint bei einem bestimmten gelöschten Buch wieder der Rahmen mit einem Cloudzeichen und dem Buchtitel, aber ohne Inhalt. Wie kann ich diesen Rahmen löschen? "Aus der Bibliothek" entfernen" nützt nichts, der Rahmen ist bei einem Neustart wieder da. Ebenfalls das manuelle, physische Löschen aller Files, die mit dem Buch in Verbindung stehen könnten, bringt nichts. Auch eine Neuinstallation von ADE war erfolglos. Greift ADE auf eine Cloud zu, wo irgendwelche "Leichen" versteckt sind? Wenn ja, wie kann ich die löschen? @ !

Hello,I haven't been able to import epub books (acsm files) to authorised devices for quite a while.I have tried different apps (Aldiko Reader and Bluefire reader), does not work in both.I have tried in 2 different Android phones and an Android tablet, does not work.I have formated my phone and tablet and re-installed everything again, does not work.It shows the progress bar for the import, but it does not move. After a while it gives me an error message: The file could not be imported.It worked before on the phone / table I am using now. Why did it stop working? Could you help me with this?Thanks.

I downloaded a digital text I bought to my work laptop, however when I took the computer home I wasn’t able to view the text. So I tried to download it to my iPad, but I kept getting the following messages: “This item was originally downloaded with a different user account or Adobe ID” & “The vendor account you entered is not associate with the item you are trying to open”. I tried every possible e-mail address I have that could be associated with this text to access it, but nothing worked. I even tried going onto Adobe ID and resetting my password, but I never received the e-mail to reset the password. That is when I contacted customer support and was told that they don’t offer assistance on Adobe Digital Editions, which is what I had to use to read the text. I tried explaining to the representative I just needed to know what Adobe ID is associated with the text, so they suggested that I remove the original activation for my work laptop and it would allow me to reauthorize my comp

At my university computer, I have to activate my book every time I log of and on a computer. Because of this I exceeded my amount of activation keys (I did not know there was a limit). Now I know about the amount of activation keys, I know I can't use the university computers to study. This is now a huge problem since I have a laptop. What is a problem is that I did not activate the book on my laptop. Since I don't have any activation keys left, I can't activate my book on my laptop.Please someone help me get 1 or 2 extra activation keys, I have finals next week. Hello, I have this problem, I bought a book and got the link. Unfortunately, I authorized my access using my computer, later I deauthorized the computer thinking that I will be able to authorize using an ID. Since it failed, I tried my way back. My problem now is that, I cant even access the book I bought using the same computer that I authorized. I am getting the error  " E_LIC_aLREADY _FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER." I was advised to uninstall ADE and install another one. This made my problem worse. My error now is "E_AUTH_BAD_Device_Key". Im so frustrated and need the book ASAP somebody help me.

Hi,I bought an ebook from a provider who gives a key access to the book which you can only access once. I clicked the link and downloaded the ebook and was able to view it on ADE application which i had downloaded to my laptop. After i was done reading for the day, i closed the app and switched off my laptop. The following morning, i opened the ADE app expecting to find the book there, but it was not. I dont know where to find it and i had only one chance to access the ebook. After this event, i downloaded a sample ebook and once i closed ADE the same thing happened, i "lost" the ebook. I only realised after i tried a couple of times that i have to click on "copy to library" for the ebook to be there when i next open the ADE app. Since the place i bought the first ebook from only allows one download on a machine, and after i had downloaded, i did not "copy to library" does anyone know how i can re-access the ebook i had first downloaded? If there is a way, please let me know, otherwise

I can't open adobe digital editions with my lenovo yoga 510.It just freezes and I can't authorise my kobo ereader. I have tried everything, deauthorising, installing different versions of digital editions, using different browsers, setting up the default opening programme.

Just started to use this application and the way it has been acting made look at it through task manager and it is using 25% cpu constantly, it will not scroll smoothly at all and takes days to load any pdfs. tried same pdfs on other pdf viewers, no issue. Any ideas?

I have a 6 month old windows 10 laptop that I use only for specific tasks including downloading ebooks to adobe digital editions.I last downloaded a library book in December to ADE 3 no problems.I recently tried to open ADE 3 and was told it needed a windows net update which I tried 4 times to download and install without success.I therefore uninstalled ADE 3 and installed 4.5.I now cant download books purchased from kobo.I successfully downloaded them onto an old computer using an old version of ADE.3 questions:what has happened to ADE 3 that it will no longer work on my laptop?why doesnt ADE 4.5 seem to work at the kobo store?why doesnt adobe offer any support for ADE?any advice gratefully received.

Loads to PC from library via Overdrive; can read books with ADE on pc.  But Nook gives error message: Error dialog - Item returned, not found.  Help?

I Have a PC and downloaded ADE to be able to transfer on my e-reader.I'm getting this message:"ADE could not connect to the server. Make sure you're connected to internet", when I want to open a downloaded book from a public Library.I am connected, I've just downloaded a book from a Library  !!!I succeeded to open the book on the same ADE ID on my IPhone. Someone told me this could be the problem : the same ID on 2 different machines. But we're supposed to be able to read the same book on any device and restart where we left the last time, whatever device we used !Someone can explain to me ?It was working before...Was there an update which scrapped everything ? I've got the latest version of ADE... I bought an a-reader to use it but I need to download books on my PC to be able to use my e-reader !!! I have bought a book on Google Books, and downloaded the EPUB and PDF for Adobe Digital Editions. However, NONE let me copy even a single word! This is really annoying and unacceptable as Google Books allow 10% copy. PLEASE HELP!
