Error 2038 in ADE on Lenovo yoga 510

I keep getting this error when downloading books onto my lenovo yoga 510:

I have tried deauthorising, uninistalling and reinstalling ADE and different versions from 1.72 to 4.5. Adobe support don't want to help,and i am looking at taking the Lenovo back to the store for a refund,as there seems to be no solution.
