I have buy book from google play book. It is Thai translated manga. When export (which only have acsm for pdf option.) its file name is “[Thai_name]-pdf.acsm. And i tried to authorize ade, it work but when opening it always get error message “unable to download Unable to downlaod Error getting license. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE_UNKNOWN”
I'm getting the following error in Adobe Digital Editions (v4.5.12.85) on Mac every time I try to open .acsm files purchased from Google Play Books:"Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_XML_SYNTAX"Solutions I've already tried:Deauthorized (Ctrl+Shift+D) and reauthorized with my Adobe ID Deleted all ADE data from ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions/ Completely uninstalled and reinstalled ADE (clean install) Reauthorized with the same Adobe ID used for the purchases Downloaded fresh .acsm files after reinstallingNone of these steps made any difference. Same error every time.I also contacted Google Play support first, and they said this is an Adobe-side issue. Then I contacted Adobe support directly, but was told ADE doesn't have support and was directed here.Has anyone been able to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just want to read the books I paid for.Thank you.
Hello! I am currently an enrolled university student and I have been using Creative Cloud with a student discount. Today, September 9, I was charged €83.24 instead of my previous discounted price. I am still a student and can provide proof of my current student status.I would like to keep my Creative Cloud subscription under the student pricing. Could you please change my plan back to the student plan and refund the €83.24 charge made today? I am happy to provide my student ID or current proof of enrollment. Thank you!
Hi,I'm unable to authorize my computer in Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.12.I can successfully log into my Adobe account on the Adobe website using my email address and password, but when I enter the exact same credentials in ADE (eBook Vendor: Adobe ID) to authorize my computer, I always get the error:"Incorrect login ID or password for the selected eBook vendor. Please try again."Here's what I've already tried:Reset my Adobe password twice. Verified that I can log into my Adobe account in a web browser with the same email and password. Confirmed that I'm using Adobe ID (not anonymous authorization). Two-factor authentication is disabled. I'm using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.12.Despite all of this, ADE still refuses to authorize my computer.Has anyone experienced this or found a solution? Thanks!
I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions so I could read magazines from my library on my MacBook (OS Tahoe 26.6.2). I downloaded a magazine from BorrowBox and was able to read it fine last night. This evening, I downloaded another magazine, but when I double-click the URLLink.acsm file, Digital Editions opens and then immediately closes. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
I am having trouble with ByteBooks. I try and register and I am not receiving the OTP. I have contacted Support and eventually received a reply asking for screenshots which I sent days ago. The support is woeful. I have tried using my phone without Wi-Fi and with Wi-Fi. I have also tried on my laptop and iPad in private mode as suggested. I have also tried not using private mode. I have checked my spam and junk folders but nothing. I have been trying for nearly two weeks and I have not received a single OTP. I am getting extremely frustrated. It would be great if there was a phone number for Support because the response time is ridiculous.
I have Adobe Digital Editions 4.5. I am trying to use it with some Google Books purchases of mine. When I first tried to authorize my computer, I used my Adobe ID. After submitting, I’m told that Adobe IDs no longer work for authorization and I have to deal with ByteBooks somehow. There is a long link for a help page at Adobe, but the text cannot be copied. When I type it in, however, I am told that the page does not exist. I went to ByteBooks and I created an ID. I went back to Adobe Digital Editions and it told me the ID was invalid. There is no option to select ByteBooks as a vendor in ADE so I typed in my ByteBooks ID while keeping Adobe as the vendor. I tried to contact ByteBooks but both their email and forum links do not work. What is the secret to authorizing my computer for use with Adobe Digital Editions? Thanks.
I have continually sought to obtain a OTP from Bytebooks so I can transition from Adobe Digital Editions to the Bytebooks platform. It wont send the OTP to confirm my account. There is also no way other than email to contact Bytebooks who have never replied - this is woeful service on behalf of Adobe and Bytebooks
Since the newest update of PS, pictures that have been modified in LRC do o more open in PS. PS starts up, but does not show the opening dialogue, whereas pictures that haven't any modifications in LRC open in PS.
Running Windows 11 Home v 25H2, ADE 4.5.12.112.Added ~26 .acsm files to ADE and they processed/loaded no problem. However, when I try to add the .acsm for a large comic series, the loading bar looks like it finishes before ADE crashes. The book is not added to ADE. Retrying gives same results. This has happened to me before with other large “complete series” comics, though smaller single issue/volumes load fine, which is why I assume it has something to do with the file size. Not sure how to workaround to read the series, though!
Hola. Gracias.
#ereader #pocketbook #adobedrm #onleiheHi all,I just bought an E-reader (Pocketbook Verse Pro) and tried to open an acsm-file from a german library (onleihe). When I click on the book I'm asked to log in with my Adobe ID, but I always receive the notive that an error has occured with the authorization (E_STREAM_ERROR: CURL returned 60(3C)). Nevertheless, I'm 100% sure the login and password is correct. Could anyone help me with that problem? Thanks!

Hello,I want to transfer my ADE account to ByteBooks. However, when I try to create the ByteBooks account, it says there is no ADE account with that e-mail address. I have copied the e-mail address directly from my ADE, so there cannot be a spelling error (and I used my ADE credentials to log in here). The customer support started out answering very quickly (and suggesting to recheck the e-mail address) but now they are ghosting me. I have not gotten any reply in over one week.Anyone else have that problem? Any solutions?Anyone else know how to get any response from ByteBooks?
Je voudrais autoriser mon appareil pour pouvoir télécharger mon livre acheté sur Fnac.com, j’ai téléchargé l’appli ADE, quand j’essaye de me connecter dans l’appli ça me dit :
Okay I accept the fact that autorship and intellectual property has to be protected, but when purchasing ebooks gets you into Adobe DRM trouble, the fun get less more funny very quickly… When I try to activate my ADOBE DRM account on my pocketbook it miserbaly keeps failing, its quite embarrising… (feels like shittification hell and I am more and more annoyed by it!) 🤔So what do you suggest me how to achieve setting up Adobe DRM on my pocketbook?
I've seen a few older threads on this, but none of those solutions are working for me so I figured I'd post. My Adobe Digital Editions (4.5) will no longer open on my work laptop running (Windows 10 Pro). Solutions I've tried from other threads:-Uninstalling/reinstalling -Running as administrator-Renaming the My Digital Editions Folder-Deleting the My Digital Editions Folder-Installing the program to Program Files instead of Program Files (x86)-Renaming/creating a new folder within Program Files to install to-Downloading an older edition (I could not find a non-sketchy link to 3.0, but I found a 4.0 and had no better luck with it) When I click the icon, it literally does nothing. Not even an error or opening a blank screen. It does not show that the program is running (I'd seen some people suggest their problem was that the app was open but running in a disconnected second monitor screen. I've never connected this laptop to a second monitor, but task manager doesn't show
Dear Adobe Support,I am experiencing an issue with Adobe DRM that prevents me from reading DRM-protected eBooks.I recently created an Adobe account and I can successfully sign in to account.adobe.com using my email address and password without any problems. However, I cannot authorize either Adobe Digital Editions or my PocketBook e-reader with the same credentials. Here is what happens:I downloaded and installed Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 on my Windows PC. When I try to authorize my computer using Adobe ID as the eBook provider, ADE displays the error:"Incorrect ID/password for this eBook vendor." I have verified multiple times that my email address and password are correct because I can log in successfully at account.adobe.com. I have already reset my password, but the problem persists. I have tried both a personal Gmail account and a school email account. The exact same problem occurs with both accounts. I also tried authorizing my PocketBook PB619 (Verse) directly with the same Adob
When I try and log into Adobe Digital Editions it tells me "Incorrect login ID or password for the selected eBook Vendor. Please try again." Meanwhile I am selecting Adobe ID and entering in my user name and password that grants me access to Adobe Creative Cloud. Any ideas?
