Digital Editions

I notice that this error was resolved for a Windows PC but I am having the same issue with my Mac.I am trying to Erase Authorization because I am getting an errror message:"Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READY" when I try to access books from Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.1. I am using a new Macbook running OS El Capitan 10.11.5. I didn't have problems using Adobe Digital Editions with my previous Macbook.I can open the Erase Authorization window and enter my Adobe ID and password but when I press the Erase Authorization key, it says "Unable to erase authorization. Please try after some time." I have tried over several hours without success.

I just was curious why this program is lacking in basic functionality, zooming in and panning around is just a nightmare, even just turning the pages sometimes can be painful. I'd just like to know what the issue is, like how can Adobe release a product like this under their brand?

I just bought an e-book, but everytime i open the book in Adobe Digital Edition, the program crashes, so i can not read my book. I have reinstalled the program, removed the book and put it in the library again. Still i can not read it. What do i do?

Instalo ADE en mi ordenador en Windows 11y se abre una ventana en blanco. Imposible hacer nada. Si intento cualquier abrir cualquier menú (es lo único que se ve), el programa se cierra automáticamente.Po favor, necesito instalar ADE porque tengo libros con DRM y no puedo abrirlos. Paga para nada.

A day ago, everything was fine with the program, but then the E_STREAM_ERROR error began to appear, is anyone familiar with this error and how did you cope with it?

El programa no funciona bien, cuando abro el libro e intento subrayar se cierra siempre. Admás muchas veces no me guarda la última página en la que me quedé. He probado a darle a solucionar problemas y nada. También lo he desinstalado y vuelto a instalar y sigue con los mismos fallos, y tengo la última versión que aparece en la web. ¿Me pueden ayudar? 

i have dowloaded adobe digital editions on my pc but cant authorize it so i can transfer the book i bought to my sony prs 505..i keep trying to put my email address in and authorize it but it wont recognise my email address ? i cant download any books till i get an adobe id and authorize my pc...how do i do this ? I am having issues downloading ebooks from a public library using ADE.  I keep getting an error code saying my computer is unauthorised, although it is authorised, as confirmed under the Help Menu on the ADE 4.5 I have installed. The library say this is a recognised issue and advised me to deauthorise my computer on ADE and then reauthorise again. I was unable to do this as I no longer have the password I originally authorised the computer with. As advised by Adobe Help, I went to my Adobe account, changed my password, and then tried to deauthorise using the new password. This also failed. Can anyone help me with how else I can deauthorise? I'm using a MacAir running Monterey 12.3.1. Thanks.

no puedo leer libros prestados de la biblioteca de Andalucia.Ya he desistalado autorizado desautorizado....etc ,la portada del libro descargado es negra y el mensaje es : tu ereader no esta autorizado para abrir este libro.Como has desautorizado tu ereader previamente deberas volver a importarlo usando Adobe , pero es que ya lo he hecho

Hello. I face an annoying problem with the programme. Each time I try to download an encrypted ebook file I face the error: Unable to Download: E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN. I tried downloading different file, I deauthorised my computer and reauthorised it, and I reinstalled the the latest version of the programme but the same problem occurs.

wann wird Ereader Onyx Boox note air 2 plus in ADE integriert. Danke

I have tried all the suggestions for being able to read my downloaded books from the library, but to no avail. Autorization is correct, same in Adobe DE 4.5.11, Kobo Glo HD Multiple types re-installed Adobe, reset to factory settings Kobo, deleted activity.dat, deleted cache, logs and so on. The ereader says it is autorized with the correct account details, same as in Adobe DE. Also tried the trick with opening two books at the same time, alas also not working. What to do?!

J'utilise deux ordinateur pour la lecture de mes livres, un au salon l'autre dansnotre salle d'ami. Je me suis abonnée à Adobe. Je veux supprimer mon compte par défaut pour que mes enfants puisses avoir accès à leur Adobe mais je ne trouve pas le moyen de modifier car j'ai le message"Cet ordinateur bénéficie déjà d'une autorisation". I tried to open my bought eBooks in Digital Editions on a new laptop, both authorised with my Adobe ID. Now I can't read the eBooks on the new laptop due to the following error on authorisation:the vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to openI tried to the Adobe online chat, who said to post here. Het lukt ons niet een Kobo E-reader te autoriseren omdat er geen keuzelijst met readers verschijnt, hetgeen  volgens de instructie van de bibliotheek wel zou moeten..Op die pagina zou rechtsboven een tandwieltje moeten staan waarmee geselecteerd zou kunnen worden.

But i can still only download my ebook to my laptop and after not not copy it to my kobo eraader? how can i solve this problem? do i also de activae the connection with my kobo ereader? or is this a problem i have to contact the book seller?

Having issues with ADE on my Mac. When I try open an ebook download it says "Connection Error Detected: Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet" I am definitely connected to the internet. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.... Any suggestions welcomed!!

It worked fine yesterday on my Mac. Nothing changed. But today, even after unauthorizing and reauthorizing my computer and reinstalling the latest version it crashes again and again.  Any ideas?
