I know this has been answered a couple of times; go chat with adobe and they can de-authorize and the link to do so. For the life of me, this link does not lead to any way for me to start a chat. I have this problem because I am constantly deleting the application and re-authorizing because I will download a book from the library and when I transfer the file onto my kobo, it says that I'm not authorized to read it, even though I've factory reset my kobo and the application. I've tried of multiple laptops and kobos, I regularly have this issue and it is insanely frustrating. Please if there is a way to actually speak to adobe support I need instructions on how to do so. Thank you!
Hello, I am very sorry to have to report that the Adobe Digital Editions application is not working properly. I have found it’s performance to be bad. Really bad, so bad in fact I’m at a loss as to how a business can allow this low level of delivery to manifest itself before us. I’ve paid for a book I am struggling to read because I’m obliged to read it only via this application which seems almost entirely useless. I’m not happy, not at all. Running iPad Pro 3rd generation, iPad OS 15.7.1. I want to complain, the service is extremely unsatisfactory and I am most disappointed. I pay for an ebook I expect to be able to read it with ease. Unfortunately that is not the case because it’s only available to read via Adobe Digital Editions which renders the effort of trying to enjoy a novel so painful and protracted due to the application’s glitches and fails that I am having to stop trying now. I want a refund for the books I’ve bough

Unable to download Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY. Cannot open ebooks on my Adobe DE. How do I fix this?
I have two different Kobo libra2's registered under different library cards to the same library. About a week ago it suddenly became impossible to browse for and download library books. When I push the button in the lower left corner of the Home window a new window comes up that says only: 'please wait...' but then it never advances. This happened for both eReaders. When I check out the books on the computer and Sync the eReader it doesn't work either even though the WiFi works fine. I then tried adding ADE to my computer and downloading with a hardwire connection but the most I accomplished was to be able to download the item to the eReader but then when I eject the eReader from the computer and try to open the book on the Kobo I get this message: Your eReader is not authorized to open this book. This book is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). Because you previously deauthorized your eReader, you need to reimport the book using Adobe Digital Editions (
Hi,Borrowed Epub books from my library come in .lcpl format, and not in .acsm format. Adobe Digital Editions v3.0 does not support .lcpl format.- Do ulterior versions of Adobe Digital Editions support .lcpl?- And has anybody been able to add Epub/lcpl file to a Kobo tablet? Background: I am currently using Adobe Digital Editions v3.0 with a Kobo Libra 2 tablet. Tx.
I installed Adobe digital editions 3. No matter what I do it does not turn pages!!! I have checked all FAQ but there is no answer to this errror. the turn page symbol arrow is not even highlighted. Can somebody help please? Leo
I been using ADE on my Mac (Mojave) with no issues, but when I downloaded the app on my 10 GEN iPad it doesn't seem to work. I transferred the files from iTunes and recognized it in my iPad. When I attempted to opened the books on my pad it keeps telling to Deauthorize and logs me out. I log in and no problem is fixed. I reinstalled it and still having the same issues. I don't have an idea why it doesn't let me open it.
Hi - i'm having issues downloading a epub to read on ADOBE Digital Editions. To fix this, i am trying to erase the authorization and reset it. However, i have no idea what to put in for the vndor ID. Is this my library user ID? Or something else. Any advice would be appreciated.
Bonjourj'ai change mon adresse mail dans mon compte ADE et sur ma liseuses KOBO mais mon autorisation DRM reste attachée à mon ancienne adresse mail. Je ne peux plus lire les livres sous protection DRM sur ma liseuse
I can't open borrowed books on my ereader. They download just fine to ADE and I can move them to the ereader however when I go to read them I get this message Oops! This document couldn't be opened.
I'm having issues my Nook Glow Light 3. Contacted Barnes and Noble. They said I needed to download Digital Editions 3.0. The link on the Adobe website isn't working. Any suggestions?
Looking for Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 for Mac? This download worked for me on an old desktop Mac running High Sierra 10.13.6 and an old Kobo GLO HD: https://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/digitaleditions/ADE_3.0_Installer.dmg I followed the instructions (they include the above link AND a link for PC) here:https://confluence.demarque.com/confluence/cantook-station/en/guides-de-demarrage/lire-sur-une-liseuse/lire-sur-d-autres-modeles-de-liseuses/transferer-votre-pret-sur-une-liseuse-a-partir-d-un-ordinateur-mac/installer-adobe-digital-editions-sur-votre-mac
Hi, I'm trying to use Adobe Digital editions 4.5 to transfer a pdf ebook from my laptop onto my Kobo ereader. For some reason, when I try to add the book from the downloads file on my laptop to the library in ADE, I am getting an error message on ADE 'Unable to add document. This version of Digital Editions does not support password protected pdf documents. Please use Adobe Reader to view this document'. I'm confused as to why I can't add the file to ADE because, whilst the pdf is a bought ebook, the file is now on my laptop and doesn't need me to use a password to access from here. Also, I have no idea if it's possible or how to move a pdf from Adobe Reader to an e-reader. which is the whole reason as to why I'm trying to add the file to ADE. Can anyone advise on any of the issues here? Many thanks.
Hello, after downloading one or two book titels after a new computer authorisaton the download of a next new book does not work anymore. Digital Editions is crashing down. Hallo, ich habe vor Jahren eine Registrierung bei Adobe Digital editions vorgenommen. Nun kenne ich die DRM leider nicht mehr, benötige also wohl eine neue. Hat jemand dazu eine Idee?
I was advised to post my issue here with my contact information. I hope that's correct and someone can help. Frank E. Spikes, ahellofaguy.1953@gmail.com or ahellofaguy.fes@gmail.com . I can't login to ADE, because I don't remember my password. I cannot change the password, because my login e-Mail address (fsandwj@centurylink.net) is no-longer valid and has not been for some time (over ten years). I tried talking to someone via chat, but was acvised they could not help. I was told I had to post here. So, I've posted here. I use ADE to transfer downloaded library books to my Nook Color. I have no issues with that process. It all still works fine from my laptop. My issues is, I need to transfer ADE to my desktop an am in a loop. I don't remember the password and can't change it because my login e-Mail address is no-longer valid. FYI: I also have a Creative Cloud account and have no issues with th
I would like to deactivate all the devices associated with my Adobe digital editions account. Disappointly I'm not able to do this from my account settings? I attempted to ask the virtual assistant for help, but when it asked what app I needed help with and I responded with "Digital Editions" or "Adobe Digital Editions" it didn't understand me and eventually kicked me off. Can I get any assistance here? This is extremely frustrating, users should have the ability to deauthorize devices themselves if there is a hard limit. The devices I need to deauthorize no longer exist, so I'm not able to turn them on and do it myself!
I am amazed at how little you care about the comunity, I saw a two year old post lifting issues that are still there... I made the error to buy an e-book that has to be used with Adobe digital editions, never again, specially when the issues that many have stated for years ago havent been fixed. It takes painfully long to scroll one page! if there is a picture in the book, the program lags...Cant see two pages at a time... Sometimes the text loses its quality and you must zoom even though it should be readable... just see for yourself....
I download the pdf version of the ebook from Internet Archive, it takes me straight to the ADE app, it says that it will load to 100% but only reaches 1% or 2% then naturally when I click on the ebook from the app library I get a white screen. Please help
I have been using ADE on a Windows OS for some time, without any recent problems. I have now downloaded the Android app and can't get it to work. The preloaded manual is useless. I can't get it to recognise the Kobo reader, even though this is visible on the Android device, nor can I get it to open a downloaded .acsm file. How is it supposed to work?
I've come across several posts of people asking about a Read Out Loud function in Digital Editions. As a Librarian, I don't have to face hurdles with reading but want to support my patrons with dyslexia as best as possible. We are already forced to promote Digital Editions because publishers are scared nobody will buy books anymore if they make eBook available DRM free. Adobe is doing rather well with accesibility issues with its other products. For example, take a look at this pro-active research: https://blog.adobe.com/en/publish/2021/05/06/hacking-readability-for-dyslexic-readersSo WHY is Digital Editions still a horror to work with for people facing reading hurdles? Why no Read out Loud function or reading ruler? Adobe has the technology in-house.
The e-mail account originally used to authorize Adobe Digital Editions on my computer is no longer active. Is there a way to change the e-mail address and password to correspond to my current Adobe account without losing access to the ebooks I've downloaded?
