Dreamweaver

Full disclosure:  I'm a novice.I added logo image to header and the header box became wider, making a line of text to the right of the logo sit on the bottom of the header.  I want the line of text to be in the center of the header box.  I tried using "vertical-align: 50px" in the html code following the text but it didn't do anything.Simple suggestions for how to accomplish the re-alignment is appreciated.  This is the code:<header><div class="primary_header"><blockquote><blockquote><h1 class="headermain.title"> <img src="Magnus Logo.png" width="67" height="100" alt=""/><span class="headermain" style="font-family: lato; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 50px;"> <span style="font-family: maven-pro; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 50px; text-align: center;">COMPANY NAME</span></span><span style="font-family: maven-pro;font-style: normal;font-weight: 400;line-height

Does the version of Bootstrap stay the same unless I upgrade my DW? Or does the Bootstrap can upgrade/change automatically while keep using the same version of DW? I'm currently using DW 20.1 and when I created a new page looks like it sets up files for Bootstrap 4.4.1. Would this stay the same? Toshi

Hello everywhere. I started not too time ago with DreamWeaver. The question is when I am writing a lot of diferent levels braces, start to be confuse for me and check where is matched each one, result slow to me.  I'm speaking about this indent lines or braces match lines, that allow you see easy where is conect every brace: *The vertical lines that conect <div> with </div> or between every brace "{/}". I cheked all options and preferences and I didn't find anything. Is any option to show this lines? Because happen me a lot of times, that I needed to spent a good time to fix the design cause one of this braces was bad conected or something like that, make me feel crazy. It's terrible when you try to conect with CSS code for example.Thanks a lot for your attention!😊

All of a sudden, starting a few days ago, I can't FTP from Dreamweaver.  At first, I thought it was my hosting company, but they checked everything with me and it checks out so the problem is not on their end.  Then I went to my ISP and we checked everything as well and it checked out, so not their issue.  I then downloaded a separate FTP program, FileZilla and I can FTP with no problems.  All of this is telling me that the problem lies with Dreamweaver.  I had no problems until a few days ago.  I know that my FTP settings are correct, as I double and triple checked them with my hosting company.  Is this a known issue that has cropped up in the latest version?  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

I had to create a new contact form, however, it's not 'acting' properly when viewed on the internet, however it does when in dreamweaver. Any thoughts as to why? An outside company originally designed and coded our website and the old code no longer works with the new platform our hosting company is using. I Built my Website in Adobe CC, Dreamweaver 2020. I signed up with Host Server, "SiteGround" so my Website could be accessed over the Internet. I have been in constant contact with "SiteGround" Support. I finally got Dreamveaver to connect with "SiteGround." I then was able to Sync my "Local Site" (Cavett Robert Website" with the "SiteGround" Server. However, I could not click on the name of my new Website, (http://positvreinforcementfoundation.com) because the Support Team at "SiteGround" said the Files I upload to them were in in proper Order/Hierarchy/Folders. They said my Files should be  "Your website's files need to be placed in the public_html directory, so the website is visible when going to "positvereinforcementfoundation.com". I have tried dragging, copy and pasting, etc. unsuccessfully. What a disaster this has become. Looking at the CC desktop app, I thought I would look under Categories for my favourite product called Dreamweaver. The first place I look for is Web Development. Not to be found. Finally find it in the Category of UI & UX. Does this mean that Adobe has earmarked Dreamweaver for designers only? Is it earmarked for simple static web pages? I'm working on a site built in XSL pages. These pages transform on the server with server side XML and then are served to the browser. I have been constantly frustrated with using this site with DW, but giving it another shot. Is it possible to work on design view with .xsl pages?   It seems the only option I have available is code view.

I've been using 2017 and I started using 2019 and 2020, every time I go to make a change I get a "not responding" message.  I noticed this in 2018 and went back to 2017.  Now that I've updated my Creative Cloud to 2019 and 2020, I'm having issues whenever I make a change.  It's taking me an extra 15 minutes to update my newsletter because of the software times out. How do we fix this?

I'm coding in Dreamweaver. Then I click a point in my code and use the spacebar to make some space. The cursor starts deleting my code. How can I get Dreamweaver to stop deleting my code when I'm trying to add space in my code?

So Paul did you have a chance to maybe take a look on this?

having an issues with a site definition,  Error I'm getting is ... dynamically related files could not be resolved because of site defintion in not correct for this server,   This is also giving me a 404 error when using the live preview,   I can preview the website site if I type localhost/rootdirectory/ in the browser.  

Hello: After being unable to upload files today using DW 2020's built-in FTP client, I asked my host/server about the continuous failure to upload. The technician wrote this to me:> >  Hello Warren,In order to improve the security associated with FTP service and to avoid attack targeting to its port, we have modified the server-wide security setting from "TLS-1.1" to "TLS-1.2". Due to this reason you are facing the FTP connectivity issue. Please make sure that your FTP client is latest and it uses TLS-1.2. Assuming that DW 2020 has also upgraded to TLS-1.2, how do I activate that upgrade? Thanks, in advance.

Hello, I am trying to create an email signature using Dreamweaver. I using my MAC but also working with users that us PC.  I have a few questions: 1) Is there a way to make the table fixed? It will not go wider or taller then what I want it to. I have done width ?px and height ?px and the table still resized or disstorted.2) When I email someone my signature goes all over the place. The line is all the way right and the disclamer is also. Why is this? 3) When a user gets my email the line is missing entirely. Why is this?4) I am trying to create over a hundred email signatures so is there a way that I can create a template to where the table will just widen with whatever text is entered?5) Is there a better way to create an email signature that is more universal without it being just an image? Does anyone know how to connect a folder to an existing server connection? My computer crashed and the sites I work on in Dreamweaver are only available by clicking the individual files in their respective folders. When I select "Select from Site," it has been cleared out. I can see all my credentials are in "manage sites" but don't know how to connect them. Thanks for any help.

I have CC 2014 and up to now it has all been going good.  I updated to Mojave yesterday and today I have noticed that when I try to preview a page it looks as though all of the CSS has been removed. Images too are also missing. If I preview in Firefox it opens and looks as intended. Does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks in advance!
