Hi there, I just updated to CC2018, I've some issue with the new code helper :I'll click on "id" in this example :I got this result :It was automaticalle close ", create a new line, and put the cursor on this newline...This is really painfull for me, I'd like to get this result like in older version :I hope someone could help me with this, thanks for reading.

Let me first say that I am new to Bootstrap and have taken an online class that touched on it.  The website's I am building temporarily resides at donlowephotos.com.   I am re-building a website so it will appear nicely on mobile phones and tablets.  I chose Bootstrap-eCommerce because I liked its format but have no plans to use the eCommerce part of it.  Here is my problem:  I copied a Div from the original website (www.cedarlodgearkansas.com built using Dreamweaver) into this one. I see the Div and its contents in the code view and when I click on it, the Div name appears at the bottom of the screen and is selected.  I want to center the text and put a border around it.  However, I don’t see the panels.  What am I doing wrong?  Any help will be appreciated.Thanks,DonThanks,DonP.S.  How to you change the webite's title via code view?  Dreamweaver won't allow me to do this.

I have a .png image on the page of my dreamweaver page created from a DW starter template.The image is all transparent outside of the double circle area. In the DW preview it shows as it should but when shown in any browser it has this weird dark blue zone. The page background is an image in gradients of dark-blues but they are screened out by this dark-blue shadow on the .png. See orange text on two images below:

I need to copy a word document into Dreamweaver file. There are few photos (jpg format) in the word document, all photos are well matched with a hyperlink.I try to copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V)  those photos from Word to Dreamweaver directly. However, it isn't work. It only copy the photo instead of photo and hyperlink. It pumps out image optimization window, asking me to choose the photo formats (jpg, png and gif ....etc). After i choose the format , it ask me to save the photo in my own drive and create a name for the photo. Do i need to match all hyperlinks in CS6 manually by myself? Since my colleague already match all the links with photos in the word document already. I can do that by using CS3  before. Is that CS6 can't do that? Thanks!

I'm working with a Dreamweaver starter template (in Windows.) When I make a change to the css code, it does not change in the css designer panel. Also vice versa : when I make change in the designer panel it does not change the code. This problem is only apparent in the website I'm building from one of the adobe starter templates. Another page I built by following a youtube tutorial video does not have this problem. You see how the code states aqua. The css designer panel and the page preview both show the dark red color. I really don't want aqua or dark red. It is a png image and I want its transparency to work so I don't get anything there except the dark-blue background image on the page. .But I may need to solve this problem first.

Fortunately or unfortunately I have been using Dreamweaver since the early days (UltraDev). I have seen it evolve through various versions until the very recent version. Each time it is "upgraded" it seems to become less useful.I recently revised the manage sites. The "test" icon works. I am able to connect!However, I'm unable to see a remote site. In other words, the test connection is fine but the real connection somehow fails. This makes no sense.I am using Amazon Web services. All the conventions between Amazon Web services and Dreamweaver Adobe version may present some incompatibilities. Ideally, the connection is not SFTP but rather SCP.  All this was working fine when I was using lunar pages which uses different conventions. It only allows for FTP which is insecure.Anyone have knowledge. Not suggestions. Not "try this." But knowledge of why this failing? Thank you

I've embedded two images into my HTLM code in a column, but for some reason they aren't showing up in split mode or when I look at the real time preview. I made sure all my tags are closed. Any ideas what could be happening?

Distorted images and text in Dreamweaver 2018This is a continued discussion of the thread Distorted images and text in Dreamweaver 2018 that was locked but never resolved.Installed Dreamweaver CC 2018 and noticed all pictures and a lot of text was distorted. After some troubleshooting it appears to be an issue with the zoom settings in Windows. As can be seen in the picture below of the About Dreamweaver window, there is distortion in the images and heading within the Dreamweaver UI as well as the page being edited. However, if I go into Microsoft Windows 10 Display settings and change the scale from the current settings of 125% to 100% everything looks good. I've reboot the computer several times and also updated the video drivers to the latest drivers from NVIDIA. Have Adobe CS6 and use Dreamweaver a lot.  Had to replace PC which has screen resolution of 3840x2160x59 hertz.  Menu headings and all the icons are so minute, is there any way of increasing the size so that I can read them?  It is the same for Illustrator and Photoshop, InDesign is fine (use all these on a daily basis).

Hello!I'm trying to debug a site that isn't loading the Bootstrap sticky footer correctly and I keep experiencing a very frustrating situation in which I make changes to stylesheets, upload them, reload the page in the browser, and NOT see the changes take effect.  I don't see them in the browser rendering OR when inspecting the elements in the browser's dev console.     I keep seeing the same CSS properties and values displayed in the dev console, although I can clearly see different properties and values  in the css stylesheet, at the same position referenced in the dev console.I feel certain I'm uploading the right documents but I don't know if something has become mixed up with the DW Site or what else could be causing this.  Anybody have any ideas??I'm using CS6.  Thanks!

I have a student that keeps having the same issue where she is seeing multiple duplicate remote files show on the remote side but not on the local side. What causes this action? See image below:

We've put out ColdFusion site under source control (TFS) and that has caused our files to become read only.(locks visible in Dreamweaver). Now I discover that when I try to Find some text in a selection of files, Dreamweaver will only search through the unlocked files., e.g., If I select 100 files and only 3 are read-write, it reports 'Done. Not found in 3 documents'.We are using Dreamweaver 8. Will a later version fix that? Any other suggestions?ThanksBob

Hello, all,I am using Bootstrap for the first time, and I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions over the next few weeks.My question, for now, is:  I'm using the pure CSS class method of collapsing blog text and using the title to expand the text when the user clicks on it.  I've added a + to the far right side of the div the title is in.  How can I make it become a − when the text is expanded, and back to a + when collapsed by the user?V/r,^ _ ^

Using Dreamweaver CS6 I find that the adobe extension manager does not work..The manager opens but reports "This extension can not be installed, it requires Dreamweaver version 9 or greater"I understand that CS6 is version 12.Can anyone advise what I need to do to get this working please?Thank youJohn Hardy

I am using spry for validation for my contact form. I am getting a lot manual spam on my site. I have integrated reCaptcha for spam bots, but doesn't prevent manual spam. I want to create a website but don't want to use any of the starter templates, where can I go to get more templates to choose from to create a website

I have a site on a production server with a hosting company that has connected to our MariaDB for a couple years with no problem using our connection script in PDO version 7.x PHP. I'm looking at moving our sites to Google Compute Engine on Google Cloud Platform  so I'm running a trial VM. Google Cloud VM instances, like many virtual hosts, require a SSH key to log into the machine and transfer files.  This seems to be too complicated for DreamWeaver to handle.  I have tried every combination I can think of under the server config to get this to work and I can't.  I'm trying SFTP on port 22, with a username and an identify file.Using WinSCP or FileZilla, I can use my GoogleCloud.ppk key on port 22 and connect and transfer files just fine.  Same with logging in with a terminal like Putty.At the moment to get around this I have set up a virtual box running Linux, and I FTP my files to it, and it then SFTPs the files automatically to my Google Cloud VM instance.If anyone has any suggestions or a solution I would appreciate it.

I recently updated to Dreamweaver 2018 and have noticed a lot of distortion in all images and a lot of the text in the Design view. I thought that this could be a new settings to make things faster but I was unable to find any new setting that could cause this problem. I then thought maybe it was an issue with the sites CSS or other special setting but have the same problem if I create a new page with no CSS or other special settings. Attached is a picture as an example of what is happening. I added only a picture of the Adobe logo and as can be seen it is distorted. The image width and height are also set correctly and are the same dimensions of the actual image. However, if I change from Design to Live the picture looks fine. I understand that the Design view is not perfect but I've never had this issue with any previous version of Dreamweaver.

Little help please. my client just told me he wanted me to switch a button we had on his 40 page website from Music  to  Music Selections.no problem. However, i don't want to go through 40 pages to switch every one of them out.I went to FIND>FIND AND REPLACE IN FILESbut from there i still can't figure out how to change at once on all 40 pages the code that reads<li><a class="drawer-brand-music" href="music.html">MUSIC</a></li>TO<li><a class="drawer-brand-music" href="music.html">MUSIC SELECTIONS</a></li>if anybody has an easy answer it would be much appreciated. I can't seem to find a single solution in the Creative Cloud Suite for my needs so I'm hoping an expert here can advise.  What I need is to create a web page that is simple to navigate and search for external content that I designate.  The content formats are PDF documents mostly and occasionally an embedded video.  The website has to be mobile compatible and must have a search feature to locate the content.  We would prefer it if the pdf content displays in a gallery or embedded or a lightbox.  Something along those lines.  The reason is our security team doesn't want people to be able to grab the URL of the document itself.  (Don't ask why, it doesn't make sense to me either.  We just need to get over it and try to solve the problem.)For context, I have customers who require training documentation.  That documentation comes in the form of a pdf. I am stll using Dreamweaver CS6 and considering now a transfer to CC. But this version is only available if you take a subscription to the Adobe Cloud. Maybe a simple question: Can I still work with Dreamweaver CC when I am not connected to the Internet?
