When I create a cc library item, I usually have created it in a specific spot on the page. Example, I have a header I like to always sit in the top right corner of my page. If I need to edit the library item, maybe by updating the text or color in my header, it will not save in the same placement I had originally created the item. In order to update the library text AND keep my original placement, I have to delete the library item and create a brand new one.
It has become very confusing. Now you have to keep clicking back and forth in the library while searching, which is annoying
Share For Review:Can there be an option to update the shared file when it's updated on one's computer?
This morning I noticed that there was different naming convention for 'Assets'...it is now 'Your Work'...very odd name for collaborative work. This is NOT MY WORK, I am Post Production Supervisor and review and comment on our various editors work. Assets is an industry standard naming convention...Your Work sound like something a child would call things he did not know the correct name of!!!
All of the items in my CC library panel display so large. If there is already a way to adjust this I have not found it. Some things can go out beyond the edge of my panel where I cannot see or select them and the panel will not scroll enough to show them. It would be nice to have a slider to adjust the size of the icons displayed in the panel to make them smaller.
I am outraged that I was forced to save to Creative Cloud in the middle of a project. Now my files are split between my desktop and Creative Cloud and Creative Cloud is not allowing me to download them more than one at a time! How is ANYONE working with this????
Core Sync uses 99.9% of my CPU on startup, while other Adobe apps are running since startup on the background consuming lots of memory and heating the computer like crazy.
Please let me pick colors from the libraries. I have a color set that I can import into all applications. Which is good. But when I want to colorize an element in ie. after effects and I want to colorpick the color from the library it is not possible to do so. Furthermore I even cannot copy the #number from the library's color. What is the point of having my colors in the libraries if I cannot pick them?
SHARE FOR REVIEW FEATURE REQUESTSNOTIFICATION EMAIL:-Allow clients to reply to the notification email and have it come back to me. Most of them attempt to reply and then are mad that I don't get it because they don't realize the notification email came from Adobe, not me, even though I warn them in my outbound message- Allow me to populate text in this email so that I don't have to copy and paste it every time I want to add a message when I send a proof (such as, DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL!)PROOF:- Add a "SIGN OFF" button- Allow me to see if the client viewed the proof and when- Allow me to setup review deadlines and auto-reminders to prompt client to respond- Allow client to make text edits in the file that push back to me.** FOR AN EXCELLENT MODEL, SEE 'GOPROOF' FROM OPPOLIS. VERY ROBUST PROOFING SYSTEM WITH EXCELLENT JOB TRACKING OPTIONS FOR THE DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER **
Some of our users are confused because their CCE All-Apps for K12 licence entitle them to a list of products (not issues here), but in ACC desktop app, many more products will be listed such as Behance and Stock to which they do not have access. So the question is can ACC desktop app be customized (dynamically) to only reflect the products to which the user is entitled to?This would save much pain for our helpdesk because "hey, if it's listed in the app. why can't I access it". Good point. Also the "send link" in the mobile section doesn't seem to work, not sure if it is by design or a bug...
It would be amazing if the Library could keep track of where a specific asset is used per document. Sort of how the links panels work but in a broader scope. So when you look at the asset it says how many times it is used in other documents and when you get info for the asset it would list the specific documents it is used in. Like many others I am sure when we are designing a new piece we may download extra assets, or we update a document and change assets to update the look. This would be helpful when we want to "clean up" our libraries we can see right away if it is used somewhere to help decide if we want to keep it or archive it. As a bonus it would be cool if it could also display if the asset was once used in a document and list it. So it would portray maybe by Icon or Color the info as Currently Used or Previously Used and then when you get Info it list them.
I would like the Select Background option that came with LR 12 to NOT include the foreground, only what is behind a subject/ object/person.Attached is an image with the background selected, and as can be seen, it selects much more than what is commonly known as 'background\.
In the Apps panel it should be verified for which CC applications the logged in user has an assigned license in the Adobe Cloud. Only the licensed applications should be installable.Remove the button for the Installation of trial versionsbasf.com.Remove the button for buying the CC applications.Creative Cloud Desktop App and each CC app (like InDesign, InCopy, etc.) should be multilingual. It should be possible to change the language in the program settings of each application. This is necessary that a different language than the language of the operating system can be used.
Grant domain users the ability to share with specific external "authorized" domain users and not entire domain. Effectively, we want our user (say user X) in our domain to be able to ONLY share with user (say user Y) in an external domain. Currently once we allow an "authorized domain" all users in our tenant can share with that domain.
Be able to set the width of copy block without returns - I don't want the automatic "fit to copy". Plus why does it automatically add an inset. We want to be able to set the copy block width to the grid and put lorem ipsum copy in there.
Very odd to discover I couldn't move files from My Files to a library. I have to download the files from the cloud and reupload to a library!Having a private file store is fine, but being able to move the files around should be easy.
I posted a similar request in the InDesign Uservoice but it would be great that instead of copying the files over when adding/dragging in a InDesign IDMS file from Libraries it is linked to that file. It would be useful when using a IDMS file (say an ad) that appears in several InDesign layouts but gets updated on a regular basis so it does not have to be re added each time but simply updates like a regular link. Maybe there could be an option to Embed/Break link if you don't want to update the placed IDMS file within a specific document when the IDMS file is updated.
Our licenses recently got renewed by our administrators. And now all our work worth, years of effort is lost. We can't see any of those files in our creative cloud tab. Let me know what we can do. We all have an enterprise accounts and this should not happen. It will be really hard to replicate all that work again for us. Kindly look into this bug and help us restore our old work back.
It's easy to share a folder, but why can't I unshare it? Please add Remove to the Share ... menu
I changed Macbook and tried to reassign the manually transferred CC folder in CC preferences, but it just started to reload all my files to the cloud again... I don't understand why it's just not recognizing that files are the same. Okey, then I desided to delete everything from the cloud and sync it all from the beginning, but I just couldn't do that, because after deleting all my files are still at the cloud's trashbin. Well, trashbin's interface shows me 100 files at one time, and proposes me to delete them or restore. I have like 100.000 files there, I have to press the "clean" button for a 1000 times? I pressed it like 7 times and hate it already. How can I clean trashbin at the cloud? Mb it needs a button?
A list of files that are currently uploading/downloading / updating with the cloud. With a history of whats has been sync'd. Also a way to prioritise certain files in the list. Many times I have been waiting around for my CC to sync, without knowing how long its going to take for that specific file to sync. Having a list will show me which files CC is currently working on and for me to bypass or reprioritise certain files which are more urgent than others. For examples:1. I may have done a large photoshop composition and saved it as a psd and as a flattened jpg for approval. The jpg I saved is more important to be uploaded 1st so it can be sent out for approvals. The time for the jpg to sync would be far less over the psd.2. I need to do some layout edits for a magazine using inDesign. I need to prioritise the ID files over the assets/Links.3. A member the team has updated some files, another collaborator doesn't know if those files have sync'd on their end or not. With history they can
Please add a sync progress label. Sync is painfully slow and I want to know if I need to wait 10 minutes or 4 hours. Thx
I wonder how I can actively sync a file bthat I uploaded via the web module to my desktop Finder. Waiting for it to happen automatically takes forever.
The desktop sync is incredibly slow compared to other desktop syncs that I am using right now (Dropbox, Office365, Google drive). This makes it completely unusable for me.
Hello,I am trying to switch to Fresco and am finding the file organizing to be painful. Requesting a way to "drag and drop" files into folders rather than using the "move" option when on the CC website. Ideally one could select multiple files to move into folders at the same time! Thank you!
