Adobe Stock new library Tray issue

I note that there is a new library 'tray' that opens every time I save an asset to a library that sits at the bottom of the browser window. However, it's not moveable and covers the only navigation interface to move/go back to the next search results, forcing me to keep closing it. I find it hard to believe that the interface designers didn't see this issue.

Additionaly:

  • It's huge - it could be half the size
  • It looks like you should be able to drag and drop assets into the library (a good idea) but that doesn't work
  • Not moveable
  • No option to hide it (which I would do immediately as it's just plain annoying).

I’ve only found a quick work around. Like ♥ something. In the lower part of your screen you can see it adding the image to your library. If you click there quickly enough, you can open your library. Ridiculous!

The tray isn't even loading anymore. The link appears, but is not clickable. Adobe, please sort this out... being able to quickly view libraries is key.

I do not see that screen anymore. Please post a screenshot of your situation.

Any updates?  This is maddening.

Would love to be able to toggle it off and leave it off.

Removing images from the Library is slow, this is only slightly better.

With no movement on this, I would like to share a workaround for now. If you are familiar with "Inspect Element" in your browser, with the inspector selector, click the tray and find DIV class="stock-portal-library-tray" in the inspector. Click on that and in the css element below, add display:none; between the brackets { }. This will hide the tray until you refresh or close the window.

Though I understand the "quick reference" inspiration behind this, without any additional functionality like drag and drop for adding new images, or a window shade function to collapse it into a smaller tab – it's a huge space hog that pops up EVERY time. At the very least, it could be much smaller. It feels like Adobe side-stepped user testing on this mod.

For me on Chrome desktop it seems fixed now. I can scroll down to the bottom of the page and there's room for the navigation to appear above the tray.

At the very least can you make it hide on scroll or hide after a few seconds?

I agree with Austen5FE5 on all points, although I'm not tempted to hide it immediately. As a start, it'd be great if the tray didn't hide the navigation. I love the idea of being able to drag and drop into the tray.
