Adobe Stock Ratings System

This is a feature request thread. Hence my post.

We shouldn’t have to resort to visiting a community forum to log issues with individual assets. I like the rating approach as you can then naturally add to the filtering a simple 5 star system. The issue of Contributors getting rejected at the point of submission would be replaced would with one of rejection by the community.

It could co-exist with an enhancement to the Report Issue through the addition of a number of quality type to report against for deeper inspection by Adobe (or re-inspection if you believe these things get checked at the point of submission!).

A few immediate quality types to be added along with the existing copyright options would be to report an asset as:

AI generated - to log items which clearly have some form of AI generation and are circumventing the existing filter.

Mis-labelled items - to catch things like flattened/outlined paths specifically where assets are marked as having editable strokes. Especially importing for line style icons.

Low quality items - where the quality of an item renders them unusable perhaps due to the size of the item, the blurriness of a photo, or some other such reason.

The problem we face is both time and effort - we need better filtration and reporting to counter this. Case in point here (Data analytics dashboard UI on dark theme, showing charts, graphs, tables for comprehensive business intelligence and performance monitoring Stock Vector | Adobe Stock) The preview looked great, but as soon as you open it you realised the vectors are either AI generated, or the asset likely had AI generation as a bitmap and the resulting material was image traced. Either way it’s poor and unusable.

An alternative to expanding the remit of the Report Issue button would be the inclusion of a zoom loupe so that we can inspect assets more clearly prior to downloading them.

Coupled with better information posted automatically alongside assets much like that of Illustrator’s Document Info panel whereby we can see whether something is CMYK / RGB and details like how many open/closed paths, number of points, what the artboard dimensions are and units 

If the file is labeled as being in Illustrator format but actually contains only placed raster data, please post the details—including the asset number—to the community or contact support.
If you mean that changing the colors is difficult because the paths were created using AI or an auto-trace function, this does not violate posting rules, so the item cannot be returned.
