ELIMINATE FREE DOWNLOAD LIMIT

At this point, we need to remove the free download limit for subscribers, especially for longtime consistent customers. PLUS there are other sites on the web that offer some of the same assets for free. It feels like theft at this point for Adobe to ask me to pay more to get free assets. AND on top of that, alot of the assets offered aren't that great or premium. You want people to use your products but it doesn't seem like you care about your core audience. You've just joined every other souless brand that wants more money.

@yamato713108855:

If I understand @ezllbrwn correctly, then they are Creative Cloud customer (or single app customer), but do not have a stock subscription. They are using assets from the free collection, and there is a daily limit of 3 free assets.

There are plans that allow you to download unlimited Adobestock assets.
Since there is no limit on the number of downloads, you can use a large number of assets.

Obviously, the free download limit is there to avoid asset harvesters. The reason to have the free download assets is to get you one or the other asset for free. Adobe did pay the contributors beforehand. So assets are free for users, but not for Adobe.

Your post does not make sense in that sense that you find the same assets for free on other sites too. That would mean that you could licence from that site for free (and maybe without a limit).

And if the assets aren't great or premium, why are you still wanting to licence? Just ignore stock and use a site that offers free assets that are great and premium.

What I read behind your post is that you think that Adobe customers of Creative Cloud products should be able to license the Adobe free assets without a limit. That is a legitimate request, however, Adobe did make two decisions with stock:

  1. Stock is a separate commercial product, costing additional money if you want to access stock.
  2. Adobe created a considerably well stacked free collection of assets that occasionally users, like not-for-profit organizations could use, but to limit content harvesters, they decided to limit the daily download limit to three assets. That is a legit Adobe decision to protect their commercial product.

And yes, the main reason for Adobe's existance is to make money, to pay the stock owners (not the Adobe stock owners) a dividend, and to pay their employees a decent salary. We all call that a viable business that pays also for your free stock collection.
