This does not help unfortunately while you are in editing modus... when you want to leave the editing modus, you have to click your way from the start page to your generated files.... it is annoying!

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem. 

The browser back button does not work, as you have discovered. You can use the history panel to move between generations in your current session. On the generation page, click the history button to reveal the history panel:

Once you press it, you can view the history panel and scroll right and left to move between generations:
