The ability similar to that of Apple’s “FreeForm” app, allowing for drawing of annotations on, around, and under placed elements and images. Via mouse or drawing tablet. For mobile versions, styluses or apple pencils

These are exactly what I was looking for! When first testing and leaving this suggestion, I do not recall the pen being available. Thanks!

Love this suggestion! adding simple drawing tools would make Boards feel way more hands‑on and fun to use.

Little sketches, quick markups, circling ideas… It would build on what Boards already does well and make it even more flexible.

I’m passing this along to the team, really appreciate you sharing it.
