I don't think that firelfy should scale down the resolution especially when a high resolution is chosen. it forces the user to upscale for more credits and that doesn't seem right.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts about resolution handling.

      We totally understand the once a higher resolution is selected, it’s natural to expect the output to match that choice without needing extra steps or additional credits.

      At the moment, Firefly may adjust the output resolution depending on the model’s capabilities, so choosing the right model that supports higher resolutions is the best way to preserve the size you’re aiming for.
       

      If there are other aspects of your reference image that you’d like to see preserved more consistently other that the resolution, feel free to let us know.
